Daily Joke: Man Sees an Elderly Gentleman Crying His Eyes Out

A man went out for lunch and on his way, he met an elderly gentleman crying. Concerned, he approached the man to offer assistance.

A man was on his way to a cafeteria for lunch when he noticed an older man sitting off by himself on a park bench. He moved closer and heard the man crying bitter tears, so he stopped to ask him what was amiss.

The older man told the good samaritan that he was married to a 22-year-old woman before he proceeded to list some of her best qualities.

He began with the morning routine she had made just for him; she would rub his back as soon as she woke up, after which she would get up to make him a breakfast of "pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee."

Confused, the young man asked him why he was crying, but the man remained inconsolable. He went on to reveal that in the afternoons, the woman would make him homemade soup coupled with his favorite brownies.

After lunch, she would clean the house and join him on the couch, where they would spend the rest of the afternoon watching sport.

Again the young man asked why the older man was crying if he had such a perfect life, and again his question was ignored. Instead, the older man talked about what his wife did in the evenings.

She would make him a gourmet meal for dinner with wine and his choice dessert before proceeding to make love to him until late in the morning.

Once again, the young man asked what had gotten him so sad that he had broken into tears this time; he got an answer, and it floored him — the older man could not remember his own address.
