English professional soccer player Harry Kane, the captain of the England national team, is married to fitness instructor Katie Goodland. Their love story is one of a kind.

Harry Kane has been wowing soccer fans since the 2014/15 season when he scored 31 goals in 51 appearances in the Premier League, Carabao Cup, and the rest of the competitions.

From that point on, he has been considered one of the most dangerous strikers in the Premier League and the world, especially after joining the national team of England in 2015.

While his career is nothing short of impressive, he is probably most proud of his family. Harry Kane and Katie Goodland have been married since the summer of 2019, but their relationship dates back to their school days.

The striker once said that since they went to school together, she has seen his whole career and has found all the attention that comes with being a soccer player’s wife “a little crazy.”

One of the first times the couple made headlines was July 2016 when they announced they were expecting their first child. In January 2017, they shared on social media that daughter Ivy had already joined the family.

Goodland explained that she was quite scared of childbirth, so she tried hypnobirthing – which involves self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques to help women be more prepared and reduce their awareness of anxiety and pain during the process.

Apart from that, Katie Goodland said she had an “amazing” water birth with no pain relief or gas, adding that Harry Kane was an “incredible birthing partner.”

About six months later, Kane and Goodland went to the Bahamas for a romantic beach getaway where he got down on one knee and popped the question. The Spurs and England player then took to Twitter to reveal that “she said yes!”

In January 2018, when all of their fans and followers were expecting news about their wedding, they actually revealed Goodland was expecting another daughter. Baby Vivienne was born in August 2018.

KANE AND GOODLAND’S WEDDING

Harry Kane and his wife announced they had tied the knot in June 2019. Although most details of the event have not been revealed, they apparently celebrated their wedding for a few days.

The couple even hosted for their guests what they called the Kaneland Games, a friendly sporting event that included golf, a limbo pole, and frisbee.

A year later, Kane and Goodland revealed she was expecting another baby. In July 2020, they shared a video of Kane taking a penalty and hitting an oversized soccer ball balloon that burst into blue powder.

On December 29, 2020, the couple announced the birth of Louis, their first son. Kane tweeted that his baby’s arrival was a “special way to end the year.”

Shortly after Kane and Goodland’s first child was born, he talked about parenting and the changes that came with it. He said being angry at home after losing a game was more complex. Kane added:

“When it was just me and the missus, she didn't mind. She'd take the wrath of the loss! But it's harder when there's a little baby now.”

He pointed out that his child made him want to win games even more. Kane also recognized that having time away from soccer was necessary, so he stops thinking about the sport and focuses on being a family man when he's at home.
