Tempestt Bledsoe & Her Long-Term Boyfriend Darryl M. Bell Once Took Part in a Reality Show
Tempestt Bledsoe's boyfriend, Darryl M. Bell, has been in a relationship with her for almost three decades but has never married. The couple is also quite private but once took part in a reality show.
In March 2011, Tempestt Bledsoe lived a simple life in Los Angeles with her longtime live-in boyfriend, Darryl M. Bell, then 47. The actress loved cooking when she wasn't working, with her grandmother's mac 'n cheese being her specialty.
She and Bell met in 1989 when she was a guest on his show "A Different World." The duo didn't start dating then but only became romantic five years later. Besides his role as Ron Johnson Jr., a college student, he was actively acting then.

His IMDb account revealed that in the '80s and '90s, he appeared in "School Daze," "Living Single," "Cosby," "For Your Love," and "Homeboys in Outer Space." He seems to have stopped acting, and he and the actress started dating in 1993.
By 2011, they'd been together for 17 years! The pair opened up about their relationship in their 2009 "Househusbands of Hollywood" reality television show. Bell hilariously revealed she wasn't into him when she guest-starred on his comedy show.

He jokingly confirmed that it was only years later that she became interested in him because she realized how "devastatingly handsome and talented" he was! Bledsoe admitted that they met several times, around six times, before they started a relationship, but she couldn't recall those meetings.
Due to her failure to recall him, she'd introduce herself every time she met him like it was the first time! Eventually, one of the times they met finally stuck, and they've been together since! The Fox Reality Channel's short-lived series they appeared on chronicled the lives of wives who were breadwinners while their partners served as "househusbands."

Bledsoe explained that a friend produced the show, and she decided to try it despite her and Bell preferring private lives. Although they liked separating their personal lives from their careers, once in a while, they share some insights into who they are.
Bell's long-term girlfriend explained how they feel "great" about their relationship, and she's "happy" either way.

A Quick Look at Tempestt Bledsoe & Her Boyfriend's Life
Bledsoe and Bell have social media accounts; the former has a Twitter or X account, while her boyfriend has an Instagram one. However, because they are private people, those are their only active accounts, and they never post about each other.
On July 2, 2023, a former "A Different World" co-star, Cree Summer, spotted Bell. Taking to his Instagram account, he shared several pictures of them posing together on a sunny day. In the post's caption, he revealed that this was what happened when he went to his local Farmer's Market:
"You find something cute and sweet!"
Summer uploaded the same three photos of them together on her Instagram account. The actress noted how the Farmer's Market was "full of delightful surprises" that day and tagged Bell, sharing how "lovely" it was to see him and Tempestt Bledsoe.
She concluded her post by sharing her love for the couple. Although the former "Cosby Show" star was there, she didn't appear in any of their social media pictures. The pair once said they weren't married because they weren't interested in that, but the actress doesn't feel it's out of the question.

Bell's long-term girlfriend explained how they feel "great" about their relationship, and she's "happy" either way. Speaking about Hollywood, the actress noted how tough it was, especially for those starting young, and said she feels "really lucky" about how things turned out for her.
