An Indiana woman is keeping the memory of her late son alive by spreading love to strangers. The woman, simply known as Toni, honored her son on his birthday by paying for a stranger's cake.

This heartwarming story was shared on the Town of Plainfield Chatter Facebook group by Carolyn Mick, the lucky stranger who received this woman's random act of kindness along with a touching note.

Mick uploaded a picture of Toni's note in which the Indiana woman stated that it was her son Tyler's 35th birthday and the 5th birthday he would be spending in heaven.

A Tennessee cop from the Smyrna Police Department was at the receiving end of a sweet gesture from a little boy.

The note also held words of advice for Mick to make special memories with her loved ones and cherish the moments she has with her children. Toni concluded her touching message with the words:

According to sources, Mick had gone to pay for her son's birthday cake at a Plainfield Kroger grocery store on May 16 when she discovered that a stranger had already paid for it.

In honor of her late son's birthday, Toni's gesture of kindness was duly appreciated by Mick, who expressed her profound gratitude on Facebook by stating how the mother's actions touched her family.

Mick confessed to sources that this heartfelt action resonated deeply in her heart as she recently lost her mother and could relate to the pain of losing a loved one.

The Indiana woman stated that she had been contemplating how to celebrate her late mother's birthday in June and was inspired by Toni's idea of showing random acts of kindness towards strangers.

However, Mick wasn't the only one inspired by Toni's actions, as several people flooded the Facebook post with comments about how impressed they were by this unique encounter between two mothers.

Back in 2019, Patrol Officer Zach Little, a Tennessee cop from the Smyrna Police Department, was at the receiving end of a sweet gesture from a little boy in his community.

The officer had reportedly finished helping with a funeral procession in the rain when a boy identified as Levi approached him by his patrol car to give him a letter.

Little shared the note on Facebook, which was attached with a $1 bill along with words of appreciation for police officers in hopes of raising their spirits following the #backtheblue movement.
