Jennifer Hudson's Son David Builds up Strength as He Lifts Weights at the Gym with His Dad
Jennifer Hudson's son David Jr. was recently captured lifting weights during a workout at the gym and fans could not stop gushing over how strong the 11-year-old has become.
David Otunga Jr., Jennifer Hudson's son with former wrestler David Otunga, might only be 11, but the little boy is seemingly already following in his dad's footsteps.
Taking to Instagram recently, Otunga shared a video of himself and David Jr. enjoying a father-son bonding moment during a workout session at the gym.

Clad in a red gym ensemble, David Jr. was captured lifting two dumbbells as his dad proudly looked on from behind. Otunga also briefly showed off his strength with two dumbbells.
The former wrestler accompanied the video with a caption explaining that David Jr.'s workouts are designed to help him build strength and endurance on the basketball court.
Otunga gave a further breakdown, noting that strong shoulders and triceps will help him maintain perfect form on jump shots, snatch rebounds, and finish through contact.
Shortly after sharing the post, fans and followers took to the comments section, gushing about the duo's bond and David Jr.'s strength at such a young age.
Hudson will appear as late music legend Aretha Franklin in her upcoming biopic.
Otunga and Hudson welcomed their son in August 2009 during their years-long relationship. The pair got engaged in 2008 but later split in 2017. Following their split, they got caught up in a bitter child custody battle that began in 2017 and lasted for about two years.
In 2019, they finally reached an agreement after seven hours of closed-door negotiations. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed to the public.
Ever since, Hudson and Otunga have amicably co-parented David Jr., who seemingly has a close relationship with both of his famous parents.
To celebrate his birthday last August, Otunga organized a Captain America-themed party for him with the young man receiving the most amazing gift — a Captain America shield.
On the other hand, Hudson also went full rock star style as she treated her son David Jr. to an epic D-11-themed party with a few of their closest friends and family.
But when Hudson is not splurging money on her son, the singer continues to achieve remarkable milestones in her career — both music and acting.
Hudson will appear as late music legend Aretha Franklin in her upcoming biopic, "Respect," which will hit the theaters in August.
A happy mom to a strong, beautiful boy and a successful actress and singer in her own right, it is safe to say Hudson is currently living her best life, and she undoubtedly loves every bit of it.
