WILCO FRONEMAN

A Fourth of July party in 2018 was where Van Ness first met Wilco Froneman. Yet, as most people can relate, the television personality only felt a "BFF synergy," he told E! News.

Nevertheless, Van Ness realized that Froneman was a good catch before putting him into the friend zone. The "Queer Eye" star described him as "a six-foot-seven muscle-bound rugby player."

Van Ness eventually began dating Froneman. They traveled on romantic getaways together, including to Hawaii. Van Ness even invited Froneman as his date to the Daytime Emmy Awards.

However, after several months of dating, the two had ended their relationship. Van Ness confirmed the split in a post on social media and asked followers not to foment hatred on Froneman's page.

As for Froneman, he also commented on the split on social media. He posted a snap of himself with Van Ness and wrote that he'll always love him. Froneman called the star "the best moments of my life."
