Woman Sets up Hidden Camera in Apartment and Catches Landlord Sneaking Into Her Room
Tyisha Macleod, a woman from Halifax, Nova Scotia, recently shared footage captured by one of the security cameras inside her home, in which her landlord was spotted sneaking around.
The 24-year-old was shocked when she learned, through a friend who happened to bump into the landlord when she went to feed Macleod's cat, that the man was had been in there.
According to Macleod, who was quick to share all the footage she had of the incident through a series of TikTok videos, she did not give the landlord permission to enter her apartment.

VERY CREEPY
In the first and most creepy video of them all, the man, who appears to be between 50 and 60 years old and whose name is yet to be revealed, can be seen snooping around her bedroom.
Wearing an orange t-shirt, black shorts, and no shoes, the man quietly goes around the bed, passing by a few bags on the floor, and goes straight for one of the pillows.
He is then spotted smelling the pillow, putting it back the way it was, lifting the covers, and quickly touching the mattress before tip-toeing out of the room.
However, in the next video, which Macleod posted with a voiceover saying how he did not have permission to be in her home, the landlord is caught by the homeowner's friend.
LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH
The third part of the video focuses on the interaction between Macleod's friend, who was there to feed her cat while she was away, and the man who didn't expect to be caught red-handed.
The two greet each other while the fluffy feline can be seen wandering around the living room, and the landlord immediately starts lying about how he had just finished feeding the cat.
In one of the clips, Macleod explained to her followers that she confronted the landlord with the footage and that he gave her the same excuse he gave to her friend.
According to the 24-year-old, she contacted the police and will be pressing charges against the intruder and will soon be moving and getting out of her lease.

A SAFER HOME
For those concerned about going through a similar experience, there are several ways of increasing one's home security, such as cameras, a security system, additional door locks, and renter's insurance.
Famous actress Suzanne Somers also had to deal with an intruder recently, but luckily, she wasn't alone at home, and the break-in happened during a Facebook Livestream.
The 74-year-old was talking about make-up when a stranger entered her home. Instead of panicking, the actress, her husband Alan Hamel, and their crew interrogated the man.
He explained that he didn't mean to scare her and that his friends had just dropped him at the property, which has quite a lot of cameras installed around the perimeter.
The man was in his 20s, shirtless, wearing only a swimsuit and flip-flops. Somers took pity on him and politely asked him to leave, warning him not to come back to the property.
