Daily Joke: Little Johnny Struggles to Write a Wish List for God on the Eve of His Birthday
Little Johnny went into the laundry room, where his mom was busy sorting out the week's clothes. His birthday was in a few days, and he thought it was a great time to tell his mother what he wanted.
"Mom, I want a bike for my birthday!" Now, Little Johnny was quite a troublemaker, both at school and at home. So his mother asked him if he thought he really deserved a bike for this birthday.

The young boy thought that, of course, he deserved a bike. However, his mother wanted him to reflect on his behavior over the last year, so she said to him, "Go to your room and think about how you have behaved this year Then I want you to write a letter to God and explain to him why you deserve a bike for your birthday."
Little Johnny let out a big sigh and then stomped upstairs to his bedroom and got out paper and a pen to write his letter to God.
Letter 1: Dear God. I have been a very good boy this year, and I want a bike for my birthday, especially a red one. From your greatest friend, Johnny.

But Little Johnny knew that this was not true. He definitely had not been a very good boy this past year. So he tore up his letter and decided to start again.
Letter 2: Dear God. This is your pal, Johnny. I have been a good boy this year, and I would like a red bike for my birthday, please. Thank you so much. From your friend, Johnny.
However, Little Johnny knew his letter was still not true. So he tore up the letter and started again.

Little Johnny knew that this letter was not true either, so he tore it up and wrote a fourth letter.
Letter 4: God, listen, I know I have not been a good boy at all this year. I am very sorry about it. I will be a good boy next year if you send me a bike for my birthday. PLEASE. Thank you, Johnny.
Little Johnny knew that even if his letter were true, what he had written would not get him a bike. At this point, he was distraught. He went to his mom and told her he wanted to go to church.
Little Johnny's mother was happy as it seemed her plan worked, as Little Johnny looked very sad. So she said, "Of course you can, my dear. Just be home in time for dinner!"

So Little Jony walked to the church at the end of the street. He went in and walked up to the altar. He looked around and grabbed a statue of Mary, then put it under his shirt and rushed home.
He ran inside his house, up the stairs, and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. Little Johnny then began to write his letter to God.
Letter 5: God, I'VE KIDNAPPED YOUR MOM. IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE HER AGAIN, SEND ME THE BIKE!!!
Wow, Little Johnny sure had a plan to get his bike. If you need another laugh, check out what Little Johnny was up to when an insurance officer visited his home!
