Fans Can’t Hold Back Tears as DMX’s 5-Year-Old Son Exodus Still Mourns His Death

Rapper DMX’s death is still a shock to his fans and a heartbreaking experience for his family, especially his 5-year-old son who recently asked to be with his father.

For years, rapper DMX remained a fan favorite, and an icon with his series of chart-topping songs and energetic performances made him a Hollywood sweetheart.

Despite his obvious talent and fame, DMX struggled with drugs and, as a result, faced a series of health-related crises that ultimately claimed his life a few months ago. His death came as a shock; the music community and fans took to their social media pages to mourn his loss.

All seemed to have been gradually forgotten until a recent post from the late rapper’s fiancée, Desiree Lindstrom, opened old wounds after sharing a heartbreaking story involving their 5-year-old son, Exodus.

Almost five months since the rapper left the world, his little boy still hopes to see him come home or at least meet him in heaven since that’s where everyone said his father is.

In the touching post, the 28-year-old grieving mom described the pain of seeing her toddler mourn. She explained that their little boy misses his dad so much. Lindstrom captioned the post:

“It’s so sad and heartbreaking as a mother when your son asks mommy when can we go and be with daddy and God in heaven…! He misses his daddy so much.”

Shortly after the post was shared, fans could not hold back tears and took to the comments section to express their grief. One fan wrote, “This would tear me up all the way, man.”

A second fan commented, “This just made me sad.” Another user who read the post described it as heartbreaking, while a fourth comment read, “So sad, it’s even sad when it comes out of a child’s mouth.”

He had his first arrest at 15 and would go on to be involved in many crime-related arrests. In a twist of fortune, he became one of the stars of the late 1990s and 2000s. He was also the first artist to see his first five albums go to number one on the Billboard charts.
