Kim Kardashian Stuns in Black Balenciaga Cape Dress While Attending Jeff Leatham's Birthday

This week Kim Kardashian pulled out all the stops to celebrate a business partner and friend’s birthday. The star wore an all-black skintight outfit that showed off all her curves.

On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian, 40, was photographed as she attended Jeff Leatham‘s 50th birthday. Leatham is not only her friend, but he’s also a collaborator on the star’s KKW Fragrance brand.

The “Keeping up with the Kardashians (KUWTK)” reality star was dressed in a black custom-fit Balenciaga jumpsuit with a long cape. She was joined at Nobu Malibu by her mother, Kris Jenner, and partner Corey Gamble.

Besides the all-black ensemble, the only color in her outfit was her small sparkly silver handbag. The bag pulled one’s attention because of how shiny it looked with its rhinestone-encrusted detail.

W Magazine said the Balenciaga’s Hourglass top-handle bag retailed for a whopping $5,190! Besides the bag, Kardashian also accessorized with black Balenciaga Mono rectangle sunglasses and long matching gloves.

She also took to Instagram to share several pictures and videos of her posing in the outfit. W Magazine perfectly likened her look to someone starring in the upcoming “The Matrix: Resurrections” film.

The outfit did give off Trinity vibes, especially the long cape and sunglasses. W Magazine also noted how the one-piece jumpsuit was similar to the gimp catsuit that Kardashian wore at a recent DONDA listening party.

However, the catsuit she wore looked more like a dress when peeked at from multiple angles. The publication also noted how Kardashian’s look was created by Balenciaga’s Demna Gvasalia.

The businesswoman also revealed that the dinner had a prefixed menu. Attendees got to indulge in two types of sashimi and miso black cod, and later on, the businesswoman was seen sipping on a lychee martini.

Kardashian also became the topic last Friday after Drake released the music video for his song “Way 2 Sexy.” The release came hours after he finally took out his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy.

In the video, there was a scene where a group of four models lounged around while promoting a fragrance called Wet by Drake. Fans were quick to notice that one of the women looked a lot like Kardashian.

The star’s doppelganger is model Gallienne Nabila. Kardashian’s Malibu outing came amid rumors that she and her estranged husband, Kanye West, might be getting back together.

The rumors sprung up after the reality star attended West’s three listening parties. Kardashian filed for divorce from the famous rapper and clothing designer in February 2021.
