Jenna Bush Hager and Her Two Daughters Celebrate the Opening of Broadway
"Today" host Jenna Bush Hager and her two daughters headed out for a fun night to watch the opening of "The Lion King" on the opening night of Broadway this week.
Jenna Bush Hager took to Instagram this week to share that she and her two daughters, Margaret "Mila" Laura, 8, and Poppy Louise, 6, enjoyed a night out together watching the opening of "The Lion King" on Broadway.
Bush Hager, who is also mom to Henry "Hal" Harold, shared a collection of photos from their night out. The trio was joined by "Today" co-host Carson Daly, who featured in a few snaps.

One of the photos showed Bush Hager and her two daughters walking towards the camera while on the street. The mother and daughter all looked beautiful in their theater outfits.
Oldest, Mila, looked elegant in a navy dress with printed birds, while Poppy looked pretty in a blue and white dress with a floral printed skirt. Bush Hager, who wore a stylish black ensemble, shared in the caption:
"A night out with my girls to celebrate the opening of @thelionking and the opening of BROADWAY!"

Bush Hager and her daughters were moved by the performance as the talk show host admitted in her post that she cried during the show and that daughter Poppy reported to her dad that the production was very emotional.
The mother of three explained that her tears were caused by a few reasons, including being in good company, the beauty of the theater and the production, and the resilience of others.
Kristin Chenoweth, who originally played Glinda in production, made a surprise stage appearance at the opening.
Bush Hager was not the only mother of "Today" treating her children to an evening at the theater. Savannah Guthrie and her 7-year-old daughter Vale attended a performance of "Wicked" for the opening of Broadway.
"Today with Jenna and Hoda" co-host Hoda Kotb joined Guthrie and her daughter for the evening. Kotb also featured in Guthrie's Instagram post about the evening, which she captioned:
"dreams do come true on Broadway."
Guthrie shared several photos from their evening at the theater, including a photo of herself and Kotb posing in front of the "Wicked" signage and an adorable shot of Guthrie and her daughter walking on the street.
In the photos, Guthrie looked elegant in a navy jumpsuit, while Vale looked adorable in a bright and colorful floral dress and a denim jacket. The young girl wore her hair in a high pony with a bright yellow hair scrunchie.
The co-hosts were in for a special treat as Kristin Chenoweth, who originally played Glinda in the production, made a surprise stage appearance at the opening. Guthrie shared that the singer also sang a few bars for her daughter.
Guthrie, Kotb, Daly, and Bush Hager were not the only "Today" hosts enjoying a night out to the theater. Craig Melvin and Al Roker went to watch "Hamilton," where Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator and original star of the production, showed his support.
