Dad-of-Two, 48, Looks Unrecognizable after a Whopping Weight Loss

A father of two has taken the internet by storm after revealing his outstanding body transformation in the last two years. Photos of his body size over the years have left many weight watchers hopeful.

Scott Ross of Dunmow, Essex, discovered he was on the heavier side in 2019, after going through some family holiday photos.

Unsatisfied with his barely-recognizable appearance in the shot, the dad of two decided to do something about his unflattering dad bod and regain his chiseled physique.

He has since been on a journey to lose the extra pounds and regain his fitness. Ross’ weight loss journey has seen impressive progress in the last two years, losing over 6st 7lb.

At the start of his fitness journey, the travel agent weighed 19st and 7lbs, brought about by working 14-hour days behind the desk as a travel agent since 2018.

Ross revealed that during the holiday, he knew he needed to up his game when he rented a vessel to take his two sons, Matt and Luke Kayaking.

However, he only covered a short distance when he ran out of breath five minutes into the adventure. Seeing what he looked like in the photos further spurred him to action. He explained:

“It was a real shock as I was always a fairly fit person in the past and played a lot of rugby growing up.”

The fitness coach recalled returning to the apartment with his kids and staring into the mirror, unable to recognize the overweight man staring back at him. At that point, he made the conscious decision to work on himself.

Ross ditched his unhealthy diet, began exercising more often, and adopted a proper diet geared towards keeping fit. He followed the Six Pack Revolution, a three-month online fitness and nutrition plan, while retaining his home travel business.

The routine left him feeling more energized. Although he planned on losing about 2 or 3st, seeing the tremendous result of his 90 days of hard work made him more determined to keep pushing.

He lost more pounds in the coming months until he finally weighed 13st, a weight he retains to date. Ross credits his fitness routine with reducing his stress levels and helping him through the lockdown.

To keep up with the energy demands of his rigorous exercising process, the 48-year-old man admittedly eats six times a day. Despite being in his forties, he feels fitter than he did during his rugby-playing days, with a lean frame and a perfectly sculpted six-pack.

Ross’ weight loss journey is reminiscent of an Orlando woman, Adriana Styer, who went viral in 2019 after sharing photos of her before and after transformation. The 25-year-old, who once weighed 360lbs, happily flaunted her new physique after losing 200lbs in less than a year.

Styer admitted she decided to cut down on her food intake and exercised more after stepping on a scale and realizing she weighed more than two grown men put together.

Her efforts paid off sooner than she expected, leaving many of her longtime acquaintances accusing her of purging her food.

Frequent exercising and diet regulation have undoubtedly proven to be some of the most effective methods of losing extra pounds even without going under the knife.
