Food Network Star Ree Drummond and Husband Ladd Drummond Celebrate Their 25th Anniversary

Food writer Ree Drummond and her spouse Ladd Drummond celebrated more than a decade of twists and turns as they marked their wedding anniversary this week.

Ree Drummond shared a lengthy, heartfelt post commemorating her 25th wedding anniversary with husband Ladd Drummond, 51, on Instagram on Tuesday, September 21. She captioned her post:

“Twenty-five years ago, Ladd and I got married. It’s been a wild adventure, and we’ve experienced the joys, pains, and unexpected twists and turns.”

The cookbook author continued: "And kids! That whole 'love' thing – the love that deepens, expands, and becomes more firmly rooted over time – is there…."

Ree, 52, shared a series of photos from their wedding day and recent selfies alongside her husband while referencing the last image of Ladd, noting it is what has kept her going all this time, and ending off by saying she adores her love.

The first throwback image showed the couple kneeling at the altar on their September 21, 1996 wedding day, and another displayed the then-newly wedded pair stepping outside.

A third showed a selfie shot of the lovebirds flashing, and the last photo was a solo shot of Ladd wearing a green golf shirt paired with a purple cap.

The two are parents to four kids, Paige, 21, Alex, 24, and Todd, 17, including foster son Jamar, 18. The duo is reportedly worth approximately $200 million between Ree’s media empire and Ladd’s family cattle business.

Their special celebration comes after Ladd experienced life-threatening injuries after being involved in a severe fire truck accident with nephew Caleb in March.

The incident occurred at the couple's ranch west of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, whereby Ladd and Caleb collided head-on after winds caused visibility to decrease.

Caleb, 21, was reportedly ejected 70 feet from his Himmat Fire Truck since neither he nor his uncle were wearing seatbelts at the time.

Following the accident, both men were transported to the nearest hospital. Caleb was admitted in critical condition with sustained head, arm, leg, and internal injuries.

On the other hand, Ladd had his neck broken in two different places, which was considered nearly catastrophic, but he ended up making a full recovery.
