Prince Harry & Meghan Markle May Have Filmed NYC Trip for Alleged Documentary

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent trip to New York has had the press buzzing all weekend. Especially after a publication spotted a videographer following the couple and caused more buzz about their alleged documentary.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry jetted off to New York City for their first public appearance since leaving their royal duties in early 2020. The couple arrived in Manhattan on a Wednesday ahead of their Global Citizen appearance.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not waste any time when they landed on the East Coast soil. The pair visited many landmarks and other spaces during their trip and were constantly followed by people with cameras.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their two young children in California to travel to New York last week. Although the couple isn’t part of the royal family anymore, they still have a jam-packed schedule.

According to Page Six, the couple checked into the late Princess Diana’s favorite New York hotel for their stay. The hotel in question is the upscale Carlyle Hotel, home to a swanky royal suite fit for a king.

However, reports claim that Markle and Harry did not stay in the infamous royal suite that many of their family members love. Perhaps the $8000 price tag may have put the charitable couple off of the particular suite.

Nonetheless, the pair seemed to enjoy their time in the Big Apple, making several personal and public appearances. The couple even dined at Bemelmans Bar in the Upper East Side hotel the night of their arrival.

On Thursday morning, the couple donned black outfits and visited the 9/11 Memorial for a tour. During this outing, photographers noticed a videographer following the former royal couple around with a camera.

The couple’s photographer, Matt Sayles, was also in attendance for the trip. Sayles’s presence and the videographer spotted by Page Six reporters have created a buzz about a possible documentary.

In addition to sighting the videographer around the couple, some noticed wires sticking out from Prince Harry’s garments. Publications concluded that the wires were from a microphone that he must have been wearing.

These recent details coincide with a rumored Netflix documentary about the former royal couple’s lives. However, sources close to the couple also shared that they have been collecting footage for Archewell Foundation archives.

Either possibility being true could work out well in the couple’s favor since there was plenty to get footage of during the trip. Additionally, every visit they made had a positive impact in the end, making for great content.
