Singer Jana Kramer & Jay Cutler Have Reportedly Ended Their Brief Romance

Jana Kramer and Jay Cutler allegedly called it quits shortly after going on a couple of dates. An insider claims things “fizzled” out between the two.

A source revealed to Us Weekly recently that Jana Kramer and Jay Cutler went their separate ways after a short time of going out together, saying:

“Jana is still single. She and Jay went on a few dates, but things seemed to fizzle out between them. They’re not seeing each other anymore.”

Kramer herself hinted at the breakup on Tuesday, October 5, when she posted an Instagram picture with Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker.

The 37-year-old captioned her post, stating her name as the third wheel and that it is fun being the third wheel nowadays. She also joked about not minding being one with the couple because there is no shortage of laughter and wine.

Another insider revealed to People Kramer and Cutler went out on a few dates, and "they realized they're better off as friends than dating."

In September, one other source told the outlet that the actress and retired NFL star had been on one date together, which then turned into two.

Soon after, they traveled to another state for a comedy show. The pair eventually went public with their relationship by sharing a photo of them while in Nashville.

The news came after 38-year-old Cutler's then-estranged wife Kristin Cavallari was said to be dating Chase Rice. A source told Us Magazine that Cutler was trying to make Cavallari jealous.

An insider told People at the time that Kramer and Cutler bonded while they were both going through their high-profile divorces. Kramer filed for divorce from Mike Caussin, 34, earlier this year amid allegations of infidelity.

Meanwhile, Cutler and his former wife, Cavallari, 34, announced their separation last year after ten years of marriage. The reality star has since moved on with Rice.

Since then, a source has claimed Cutler and Kramer's romance was all for show. E! News reported this was Cutler's first relationship since parting ways with Cavallari, with whom he shares three kids.

A source further revealed that the football star initiated the breakup between him and Kramer because it was not working out for them.
