Cheryl Burke & Cody Rigsby Cleared to Return to 'DWTS' Ballroom after COVID-19 Quarantine
“Dancing With The Stars” fans of team Cody and Cheryl can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The dancing duo has officially been cleared to head back to the ballroom after being in quarantine.
It has been stressful for “Dancing With the Stars” fans who have their hearts set on Cheryl Burke and Cody Rigsby. The dancing couple recently revealed they had contracted coronavirus, resulting in prescribed quarantine.
As a result, Burke and Rigsby have been unable to step onto the ballroom for the past two episodes of season 30. However, Burke recently took to her Instagram to share some exciting news with her fans.

Burke and Rigsby are good to go after testing positive for coronavirus last month. The “Dancing With the Stars” tandem was ordered to quarantine and perform remotely due to their positive test results.
Thankfully, Burke’s Wednesday night Instagram post gives voters on her and Rigsby’s side some hope. The two-time mirror ball winner was ecstatic to announce that she had officially been cleared to return to the show.

Unfortunately, fans have to wait it out over the weekend to get full confirmation that Rigsby is clear. However, Burke was positive when addressing her partner’s status and optimistically
his return:
“Unfortunately, Cody is still in quarantine. But he will be back in Los Angeles starting Friday, which means we can technically dance on both Monday and Tuesday.”
In addition to announcing that she and Rigsby would be back on the dance floor, Burke revealed they have plenty of work ahead of them. She also encouraged fans to keep voting for them as they return.
Seeing Burke’s excitement to be back on “DWTS” is fantastic, especially knowing how upset she was before. The pro dancer was extremely emotional in her first update about her COVID-19 status.
Although she seemed to be doing quite well given the circumstances, Burke did face some difficulties during this period. She touched on the challenges she faced over the past two weeks after her and Rigsby’s remote performance:
“It's something that has never been done on the show and to top it all off — dancing solo is actually a first for me!”
Despite describing the remote performance as one of the most difficult things she’s done, Burke added a positive twist. She revealed she was grateful for the challenge, even though she is more grateful to come back finally.
