Children are known to have a heart of gold. Despite being in a learning phase in their early years, they can sometimes teach us the most powerful lessons in the most innocent of ways.

Little Tiana did the same when she was impacted by the broken relationship between her divorced parents. She not only left her mother at a loss for words but ended up influencing millions of people with her poignant pearls of wisdom.

Her mother, Cherrish Sherry, posted the heartbreaking video on Facebook in 2015. In the video, Tiana can be seen sitting on the stairs of her house in Surrey, British Columbia, wearing pink pajamas. She then proceeds to ask her mom a question:

"Mom, are you ready to be his friend?"

Sherry quickly replies with a "yes" to her daughter's plea. The little angel then tells her mother not to be "that high up to be friends," further adding that she wishes for "everything to be low" and doesn't want her parents to be "replaced or be meanies again."

The emotional video had come to pass after Tiana witnessed her divorced parents arguing over a fallen shoe rack in the garage. She then decided to talk to her mom, hoping to make things right between her mom and dad. Tiana further continued:

"I'm trying to do my best in my heart... I want you, Mom, my dad, everyone to be friends. I want everyone to be smiling. Not like being mad. I think you can do it (sic)."

The 3-minute video clip includes thought-provoking messages from Tiana, which she beautifully presents to her mother. The little child also asks her mom to get settled with her dad and try her best to be friends with him.

Using effective hand gestures and a highly convincing tone, Tiana tries her level best to convince her mother that fighting and arguing can never get a person anywhere. She also adds:

"If we live in a world where everyone's being mean, everyone's going to be a monster... I just want everything to be settled down, nothing else (sic)."

Sherry shared that she was left baffled by her daughter's wisdom and was particularly moved by everything that she taught her at such a tender age. She hugged her little princess and thanked her for being such a wise and adorable teacher.
