Cheating Woman Asks Boyfriend to Move Out So He Creates Insidious Revenge Plan – Life Story
A girl went on a work trip, and while she was away, she cheated on her boyfriend, broke up with him, and asked him to move out of her house.
When this happened to Redditor DJ_Duke_of_spook, he knew she would be coming back with her new boyfriend, and so he decided to get creative before leaving the house.
He didn't want to wait for karma to come knocking at her door, so he decided to get revenge himself. To do this, he went shopping on eBay.

He bought 20 pieces of battery-powered noisemakers for a hundred dollars. The devices were the size of a quarter and emitted random sounds at just the right volume to confuse someone.
They were quiet enough that two people could be sitting in an average-sized room, and only one would hear it. Besides lasting for ages, so he knew they would be the perfect revenge.
Their size meant they could fit into light fixtures and inside wall outlets, so when his order arrived, he put the noisemakers everywhere in her house and car and even hid some of them in the boat her father got for her.

These devices made noises at completely random intervals, which could be minutes, hours, or even take a whole day. Which would me them even harder to find and more annoying.
They cycled noises like children laughing, a "dying breath," a whistle, scratching noises, and more which would be incredibly creepy.
Happy with his plan, the man then packed up and left her place. He moved on with his life and forgot all about the revenge.

Even though they had mutual friends who were not happy with the way things ended between them, he decided not to ask about her. When they spoke about her, he would say he had no grudges against her.
However, months later, he caught up with a mutual friend who wanted ideas to prank his campmates on the camping trip he was going on soon.
The man decided to pitch the idea of the noise-making devices to his friend, and his friend could not hold his laughter once he realized what had just been revealed to him.

His friend confirmed if he had done this to his ex, and he confessed. This made his friend laugh even more before telling him what had happened to then OP's (original poster) ex.
She had moved in with her new boyfriend, but their relationship didn't last long because they started hearing things at random intervals.
The new boyfriend eventually left because he could not handle what was happening between them. The noises had started to affect their mental states.

The new boyfriend had convinced himself that brain worms had infected him. He was also convinced that the government implanted it through the vaccines.
Eventually, the woman also moved out of the house and told her parents that she no longer wanted it. She had asked them to give it to her brother or sell it, but she wouldn't tell them why.
When the man found out that his ex's parents had given the house to her brother, he decided to tell her brother where he hid the devices. He also told his wife about the whole ordeal, and it became one of her favorite stories.

After reading his post, several users have advised that he should have given himself time to get over his ex after any relationship. Some users believed he did the Lord's work and are set on emulating him. Another user said,
"Don't go to bed angry. Instead, stay up the night and plot how to drive your enemies up the wall and into a mental institution."
