ET: Halle Berry Declared BF Van Hunt Is 'the Right One' after 3 Failed Marriages: 'It's My Time'

Actress Halle Berry and musician Van Hunt have been together for over a year and are not afraid to show off the love they have for each other, on the red carpet, during interviews, and on social media.

After three marriages, Halle Berry seems to have found the one in her musician boyfriend, Van Hunt. In September 2020, they became an official item and had continued to gush about each other.

Berry recently spoke up Hunt at the ELLE Women in Hollywood Celebration at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Berry and Hunt wore color-coordinated outfits; Berry wore a purple patterned gown while Hunt wore a deep purple suit. At the event, Berry gushed to different media outlets about her loving boyfriend.

While talking to Entertainment Tonight's correspondent, Nischelle Turner, Berry fawned over her man and admitted that it was finally her time to find the one:

“I mean because it’s my time. It was finally my time and the right one finally showed up.”

The "Catwoman" actress continued to gush over her beau during the event. While talking to a People's correspondent, she referred to Hunt as her "love" and "sweetheart."

When asked by Extra whether she and Hunt were in love, Berry admitted that they were. However, she had to wait ("maybe not patiently") to find him.

Berry went on to say that she had never had a man who lifted her and let her be who she was until Hunt came into her life. It turns out he has been a big supporter over the last few months.

"The Call" actress has been busy filming her newest movie, "Bruised," which she starred in and directed. Throughout it all, Hunt has been her biggest supporter and cheerleader.

Berry stars as a retired MMA fighter pushed back to the ring after her son re-enters her life. Berry told People that Hunt was involved in the whole process as she explained:

“I had a lot of support… [Hunt] was a big part of that. He did some music for the movie. He actually wrote the title song.”

Hunt released his first album in 2004. He has since released four more albums and won a Grammy Award. Berry is a big fan of his as she even used his merchandise to reveal their relationship on her Instagram.

Before Hunt's face featured on her Instagram feed, Berry shared photos of the pair's feet cuddled up in bed. However, she did not reveal who the mystery man was.

Finally, the "Kidnap" actress solved the mystery for her followers when she posed for a candid selfie in a black t-shirt that had the singer's name on it. She captioned the photo, "now ya know."

Ever since Berry made her relationship known, she has filled her Instagram feed with adorable and PDA-filled photos of the two enjoying their lives together. Including a photo of them kissing with she captioned:

"we do this thing called whatever the [expletive] we want ! 💋"

The "Perfect Stranger" actress also showed off her date for the 2021 Oscars. In one adorable image, Berry and Hunt look lovingly into each other's eyes, while Hunt is standing slightly behind Berry, styled in a smart suit.

It seems Berry is not the only one to appreciate Hunt. The "Dust" singer has met her two children, Nahla Ariela Aubry, 13, and Maceo Robert Martinez, 8.

Recently Berry recruited her two children to help create a tribute for Hunt. Each child and the family dog posed for an adorable photo with the musician's hat.

Berry, who keeps her children's lives private, shared a photo of Nahla and Maceo posing with the hat over their eyes. She also shared a photo of herself in the hat. She captioned the collection of photos:

“ode to [Van Hunt]. Sunday funday photo dump.”

Not only was it an opportunity for fans to catch a rare glimpse of Berry's two children, but the photos acted as a testament to show how close Hunt is with her kids.

Of course, Berry is not the only one to shower her partner with love and admiration. Hunt has been equally forthcoming with sharing what he loves and admires about his girlfriend.

In March this year, Hunt gushed about the "Die Another Day" actress. He opened up to ET and revealed that he considered Berry his muse.

He has also shared his admiration of her many talents, which include writing and directing on Instagram. Earlier this year, he shared a candid selfie of Berry in the sunlight and wrote:

“some meet her and speak only of her beauty, but intelligence and storytelling will mark her stay.”

He also emphasized her talents to ET as he stated that audiences would be surprised by all the things Berry could do and noted that there was a side to Berry that many did not know.

It seems the couple's relationship is going well so far. A source told People that Berry and Hunt's relationship is going strong and it is serious.

Furthermore, the outlet's source shared that the couple is an excellent match as they "respect each other and have a great deal in common" as they are equally successful and intelligent.

Berry and Hunt's relationship is a crowning moment in Berry's love life as she once revealed she felt guilty that she had gone through three failed marriages.

In 2017, after her divorce from her third husband, Olivier Martinez, Berry spoke candidly about her feelings towards her previous relationship during a Q&A at the 2017 City Summit and Gala.

She opened up and admitted she went through a lot of "pain and anguish" and feelings of guilt when it came to her failing marriages, especially because her children were involved.

Berry was married the French film actor from 2013 to 2016 and shared her son with him. Before that, she was married to Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005 and baseball player David Justice from 1993-1997.

Berry welcomed her first child, daughter Nahla, with her ex Gabriel Aubry. Despite the relationships in her past, the 55-year-old never gave up and found her person in Hunt.
