'Do Not Settle:' Mom Has Epiphany after Finding Husband on the Floor Next to Her Daughter

Kari Boyer shared a photo of her husband and daughter on the floor alongside a lengthy message to young ladies reading her post.

One of the most important decisions any woman has to make in her lifetime is choosing the right man to spend the rest of her forever with.

This man would not only be her husband, but her lifetime companion, best friend, and most importantly, the father of her children, with whom she would raise them.

Any mother or woman married for some time would know the importance of this decision. So when Kari Boyer captured her husband lying on the floor with their daughter, she took the chance to tell other young girls to choose wisely.

In a viral 2020 Facebook post, Boyer shared a lengthy message of wisdom and precaution. “Pray for the kind of man that will lay next to your future 13yr old, on the bathroom floor praying over her because she can’t keep a drop of water down,” she wrote.

Boyer hoped young girls would choose a man who would carry their child to the car and spend the entire evening watching over them in the hospital.

Boyer’s post has since gone viral with nearly half a million shares and hundreds of comments from Facebook users who agreed with her wisdom.

“Pray for a spouse that will consistently put you and your children first, above himself - but NOT above the Lord,” she wrote.

Boyer also advised young women to choose a man who has a strong faith and would make time for both his family and his God.

“You need to make sure that the man you give your life to is the man God has sent you,” she added. “No amount of waiting for a husband is worse than settling for the wrong spouse.”

Boyer has been married for 15 years and has three kids, including one who had joined the Creator. Through her experience, she knows better than to settle for less than what God wants for her.

It seems that many fathers would do anything for their kids, including sleep on the floor. Previously, a woman named Sara shared a photo of her husband, Joe, snoozing on the hospital floor while she was in line with her baby to see the doctor.

Sara shared that her husband had been working 12-hour shifts six days a week and was exhausted but did not want her and their baby to go to the hospital alone.

Despite Sara telling him to stay home and rest, Joe refused and wanted to do everything with his wife. The photo went viral and warmed the hearts of many who admired Joe for being an amazing husband and father.
