Nicolas Cage is one of Hollywood's most popular and talented actors. He has starred in several movies and won multiple awards. While Cage has enjoyed much success in his acting career, things haven't been as smooth in his romantic relationships.

For emphasis, Cage has been married five times. His first marriage was to Actress Patricia Arquette in April 1995. However, the union ended in divorce in 2001.

Cage's second marriage was to Singer Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of iconic Musician Elvis Presley. They tied the knot on August 10, 2002, but filed for divorce 107 days after their wedding. The divorce was finalized on May 16, 2004.

Cage married for the third time on July 30, 2004, to Alice Kim. However, they separated in January 2016 before finalizing their divorce later that year.

Cage then married for the fifth time on February 16, 2021, to Japanese lover Riko Shibata. The couple is still together.

Before beginning his marital journey, Cage was dating Actress Christina Fulton. They started dating in 1988. On December 26, 1990, the former lovebirds welcomed a son named Weston Coppola Cage.

Weston has been a member of two black metal bands: Eyes of Noctum and Arsh Anubis. He and his mom once owned a fashion collection of menswear, womenswear, and accessories called FULCAGE.

Weston also starred alongside his dad in the "Lord of War" film and appeared in other movies. He once revealed his dad taught him many things about acting and said he hopes to star in a TV series with him.

Weston is a father of four children. He welcomed his sons in 2014 and 2016 before welcoming twin daughters in 2020. On June 7, 2011, Weston found himself in the news after the press reported his hospitalization following a fistfight with his trainer.

According to reports, Weston and his trainer got into a fight at a restaurant because the trainer told him he could not order a particular item on the menu.

Weston got angry and attacked the trainer. The fight ended in the street with footage showing Cage's son receiving multiple punches in the face.

When police arrived at the scene, they took Weston to the hospital, where he was kept for a mental evaluation. Later, his dad arrived at the hospital to be with him.

Nine years after Fulton and Cage reached an agreement, Weston filed a restraining order against his mom.

Although Cage was allowed to see his son, the same could not be said about Fulton. She revealed that her ex would not let her see Weston.

During an interview with Inside Edition, Fulton referred to Cage as a guy who thought he was God and said she was fighting with him over the right to see her son. She also said:

"Nicolas Cage has damaged and interfered and done something absolutely horrific, and I need to just go get my son."

Fulton further said she had not been allowed to see or speak to Weston in weeks. In addition, she and Cage were locked in a legal battle over the home where she raised their son. She said:

"I am the one that raised Weston. I am the one that took care of Weston. His dad was very busy out working as an actor."

Despite being unable to see her son, Fulton said she wanted him to know she was there for him and was sorry he was in the hospital. She also pledged to help him.

Although Fulton wished to be in the hospital with Weston, he did not share the same sentiments. TMZ reported that Weston turned his mother away when she tried to visit him.

According to sources, he was angry because she talked to the media and blamed the situation on his father. The media also reported that Weston had been estranged from Fulton for some time and did not want to see her.

When the time came for Weston to be discharged from the hospital, Fulton asked the doctor to recommend that he be kept at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for another two weeks. She told CNN:

"I do not want him with Nicolas Cage. I do not want him in that care. That is not the care my son needs."

Meanwhile, Weston released a statement via his dad's lawyer and said he did not want his mom to be involved in his care. He described himself as an adult and said he did not want anything to do with Fulton because his relationship with her created problems.

Reacting to her son's words, Fulton described it as an absolute disgrace. She said her son was under a spell and would say whatever his dad wanted him to say.

She blamed Cage for their son's downward spiral since turning 18 and added that the actor was at fault for Weston's hospitalization.

That was not the end of the drama between Cage and Fulton. On June 14, Cage spoke to TMZ and scoffed at Fulton's attempt to get a conservatorship over their son. He said:

"I hope Ms. Fulton will come to her senses one day and get some help."

The former lovebirds were in court trying to settle Fulton's $13 million lawsuit on that same day. The lawsuit claimed that Cage did not give her the home he promised, which caused her emotional distress.

Cage and Fulton agreed on a financial settlement to end the lawsuit. Although Fulton's lawyer did not disclose the terms of the agreement, she said it was mutually satisfying for her and Cage.

Nine years after Fulton and Cage reached an agreement, Weston filed a restraining order against his mom and claimed she caused him emotional distress for months.

Weston is not Cage's only son. The "Ghost Rider" star also shares a son named Kal-El Coppola Cage with his ex-wife Kim. Kal-El was born on October 3, 2005. He is named after Superman, who his dad is a massive fan of.

Like Weston, Kal-El somewhat followed in his father's footsteps and landed a voice role in "Teen Titans GO! To the Movies." He also spends time with Cage on film sets. However, Kal-El mostly stays out of the spotlight and has a more low-key lifestyle than his older brother.
