Little Dog 'Cries with Joy' after Stranger Feeds It on the Streets

A video surfaced on the Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin, where a dog's eyes welled up after a stranger fed him food on the street.

Thousands of people witnessed the heartbreaking moment in the viral video posted in 2020. It was also published on other social media websites besides Douyin.

The incident occurred in the Jinzhong city of Shanxi province in North China. After seeing how the stranger treated the dog, the viewers had tears in their eyes.

A woman was walking with her friends to the park when she saw a cute little dog on the street. When she brought him some sausages, she was overwhelmed to see the dog's reaction.

The dog's eyes welled up after an unknown woman fed food to him. The video showed him standing on his hind legs while moving his front paws, making it seem like he was clapping. The woman revealed:

"He started crying when we gave him food and I tried to put him in our car one time, but he refused and jumped back on the street."

Another part of the video revealed that the woman visited the dog one more time, and he immediately recognized her. He came running towards her, making it seem like he had been waiting for her.

The woman recorded the adorable dog wagging his tail as she fed him sausages. She also guessed that the dog refused to get in her car because he mistook her for someone else.

Since it was common for dog catchers to lure dogs into vans, the little pup might be thinking the woman was one of them. She visited the same area a few days later, but the dog wasn't there. She added:

"I've tried to look for it a few times these few days but I couldn't find him"

The lady also planned on asking the cleaners if they had seen the dog nearby. The video went viral on the internet, and several viewers shared their feelings in the comments section.

"All things have spirit, be kind to them," wrote a viewer on Douyin. Most people appreciated the woman but also felt sad for the dog. Another viewer replied:

"Dogs are also emotional animals, if you treat them well, they will give you a lot."

Another viewer believed that the dog made a mistake by trusting humans, thinking the dog-catchers might have taken him away. "It's possible that it's not there anymore," she wrote.

"So grateful dog," wrote another viewer and posted crying emojis with the comment. Most viewers felt sad after watching the heartbreaking video.
