THE BRIDE'S TERRIBLE ACCIDENT

The father used personal experience to help get his message across. Lane shared a story and took guests back to 2008 when his daughter was involved in a devastating accident.

It left her in the ICU with various injuries, including a broken collar bone. During those moments in the hospital, Lane discovered something special.

HIS HAND ON HER HEART

Whenever Lane placed his hand on his daughter's collar bone, it relieved the tube's pressure in her chest and provided some much-needed support.

He said: "So I spent a number of hours just sitting there with my hand on her heart, taking the pressure off and allowing the chest tube to not press up against the collarbone."

A POWERFUL MESSAGE

The father then turned his attention to the groomLane told his new son-in-law that it was now his turn to put a hand on his daughter's heart—indicating that it was now his turn to take care of her.

He concluded his speech with a powerful message and expressed

"I thought it was a very good symbolism for what you get to experience now ... You're not going to outlove her and she can't outlove you. The two of you can only love each other."

THE EMOTIONAL ONLINE REACTION

The video panned from Lane to the crying bride and her new husband—it showcased how much the speech meant to them. The moment also caused many viewers to bawl their eyes out. One netizen wrote: "I'm crying like a baby."

Someone else revealed that the video tugged at their heartstrings, while another added that it was the best speech they had ever heard. The praise and admiration for the father was a fitting response to his moving words and display of love.

ANOTHER BRIDE RECEIVES A SPECIAL MESSAGE

The bride's father often makes a speech at the wedding reception, and sometimes their words carry more emotion than usual. Paul Polries suddenly passed away before his daughter's big day, and she was devastated.

Thankfully he had already written his speech. Ally Polries Mast listened as her mom read her dad's wishes for her in his absence. There was no dry eye in the room as the speech displayed the father's love for the bride.

Weddings offer parents a special moment to share lessons and love with their children. Both Polries and Lane utilized this opportunity and wrote words that their beloved daughters would cherish forever.
