Woman Receives Message from a Biological Daughter She Never Knew She Had
In an unbelievable twist of fate, a woman received a video of a young girl singing, completely changing her life. She was emotional and reached out to her immediately.
Amy Throckmorton always had a love and appreciation for music and spent her life studying the arts and performing around the globe. However, she never knew just how much joy music could bring into her life until 2018.
During her college days at USC, Throckmorton, who was on an academic scholarship, needed some extra money. When she saw an advert for egg donation, she was intrigued. A few of her sorority sisters were apprehensive and told her to think it over.

SHE DONATED HER EGGS
Throckmorton believed egg donation would be a win-win because she would be paid and have the opportunity to help people struggling to fall pregnant.
She decided to go through with it and knew she could never reach out to the family she matched with. Due to the privacy of the agreement, the young woman also did not know if any of her eggs resulted in successful pregnancies.
THE UNEXPECTED MESSAGES
Throckmorton occasionally wondered about her egg donation, but she went on with her life—until 2018 when she received a few unexpected messages on Facebook.
She stated: "I received a message from a young lady named Gaba who claimed to be the product of my egg donation all those years ago."
THE VIDEO THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
Elizabeth Gaba was on a mission to find her biological mother, and when she turned 18, she was given access to her egg donor's file. She managed to track down Throckmorton and sent her a video of herself singing.
Upon watching the clip, Throckmorton instantly knew Gaba was her daughter. Another surprise was their similarities, as both had an affinity for music and attended USC. Throckmorton said:
"It is a mind-bending story. The coincidences are so crazy."
SINGING TOGETHER WAS EMOTIONAL
After their reunion that was 20 years in the making, the pair felt a strong desire to sing together. They did so during their first visit, and as they sang, they became emotional because their voices were perfect together.
Throckmorton is thrilled to have met Gaba, the daughter she never knew existed. She expressed: "I'm overjoyed to have had some small part in her journey. I hope we stay in touch for a lifetime."
ANOTHER EMOTIONAL MOTHER-DAUGHTER REUNION
Regardless of the circumstances that separate children from their parents, there is often a longing to be reunited. For Dina Sierra Hardaway, that longing propelled her to look for her birth mom for over 30 years.
She used an adoption agency's Facebook group to raise awareness about her search and was thrilled when a woman named Jennie Sandoval Sanders responded in 2011.
GRATEFUL TO BE REUNITED
Sanders fell pregnant at 16 and was forced to give up her baby, but she never stopped thinking about her. Finally, after a lifetime apart, she met her child.
Both Hardaway and Gaba were emotional when they found their biological mothers. They knew not everyone was lucky enough to be reunited with their parents and were thus doubly grateful for the chance to build a relationship with them.
