The 35-year-old rapper proposed with a custom-designed heart-shaped ring set in a royal setting with tiny hearts from Beverly Hills' XIV Karats. Lavigne confessed that she had always wanted a heart-shaped diamond and was thrilled to get it from the perfect partner.

Although the proposal was a total surprise, Lavigne said she always knew Sun was the special one. The couple seems to have forged a close bond and understanding since they first worked together.
