Dual' Star Beulah Koale Is Father of 'Miracles' - His Wife Is Now Pregnant with 3rd Child after Welcoming Twin Boys
A planned pregnancy is a blessing, but it almost turned into tragedy in Beulah Koale and his wife's case. Their miracle children received great news in late 2021.
"Hawaii Five-0" star Beulah Koale and his wife, Georgia Otene, have been open about the difficulties they faced with her first pregnancy, including the heartbreaking options doctors gave them halfway through.
When Otene was 20 weeks pregnant with twins Isaac and Xavier, she got a routine scan done at North Shore Hospital, New Zealand, and she never expected to hear that the identical twins were in danger.

Isaac unexpectedly stopped growing, so doctors gave the couple two options: they could either have an early delivery and risk both lives or sacrifice Isaac so that Xavier could have a higher chance of surviving.
Koale pointed out that those were horrific options that made them feel helpless. Otene was also an "absolute mess," especially because she thought her baby was dying inside her.
Beulah Koale and Georgia Otene went to Auckland City Hospital for a second opinion and found Dr. Margie Harpham, their "fairy godmother." She monitored the pregnancy twice a week and then daily.
When Otene was 25 weeks pregnant, she needed to stay in the hospital. She spent three weeks hospitalized and hooked up to a monitor to ensure everything was okay.
On December 21, 2016, Otene underwent an emergency C-section. Isaac was still and silent and needed to be resuscitated, but Xavier was healthy and screaming.
Fortunately, doctors managed to bring Isaac back to life, but it was just the beginning of a long process. Since they were born prematurely at 28 weeks, they had underdeveloped lungs and needed to spend three months in incubators at the NICU.
I've got myself a complete boy squad and so I'm officially a forever boy mom.
The twins made it out of the hospital okay, are the spitting image of their famous dad, and were crucial in their parents' January 2019 wedding.
They walked down the aisle and took turns being naughty, explained the actor. Although Koale and Otene were not supposed to hold them at the altar, the boys kept punching their legs and pinching their feet. It was a beautiful moment anyway.
In late December 2021, Isaac and Xavier received great news: their mom is pregnant. Otene announced the pregnancy news on Instagram and confessed it was another miracle because everything suggested she was going through early menopause. She wrote:
"We are so happy, blessed, and in love. Our lucky last little blessing and I've got myself a complete boy squad and so I'm officially a forever boy mom."
Luckily, Koale's acting career is thriving. After appearing in a couple of episodes of "NCIS: Hawaii," he was cast in the sci-fi thriller "Dual" next to Karen Gillan and Aaron Paul.
Beulah Koale confessed he got interested in the project because of its writer and director, Riley Stearns. Koale said his co-stars Paul and Gillan were genuinely nice people and driven, hardworking actors.
