Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Make Their Hot Met Gala Debut - The Timeline of Couple’s Love Story
Kourtney Kardashian and her beau, Travis Barker stunned many when they made an appearance at the just concluded MET Gala for the first time — here is a short brief on how their love blossomed.
The MET Gala is an annual event that goes down on the first Monday of May. Regardless of their field, celebrities come together to showcase their fashion and aid in the fundraising effort, which is the actual reason for the annual Gala.
This year's edition saw a massive turnout. Still, everyone at the venue was pleasantly shocked when Kourtney Kardashian, who has always skipped out on the event, showed up alongside her lover, Travis Barker.

The Poosh founder's sisters, Kim Kardashian, Kylie, and Kendall Jenner, have all been frequent attendees of the Gala for years, and their looks are always some of the most talked-about, which is why it did not surprise many when Kourtney pulled up looking like a meal on two legs.
The pair, famous for their love of PDAs, posed for shots in matching Thom Browne menswear. Kourtney paired a white cropped button-down shirt sporting loose cuffs with a black and ivory tuxedo skirt with white markings reminiscent of a tailor's chalk.
She had her hair tied in a bun secured at the top of her head with some strands deliberately left out to frame her face.

Her date, the ruggedly handsome Travis Barker, had on a tuxedo jacket with a matching kilt he complimented with tailored trousers. But, according to Kourtney, her outfit was a "deconstructed version" of Barker's suit.
For this year's Met Gala theme, guests were directed to wear their best "gilded glamour," giving the nod to American fashion from the Gilded Age of New York from 1870 to 1900, and the couple clearly understood the assignment.

THEIR RELATIONSHIP TIMELINE
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker make a lovely couple, and since they got married, people have been trying to get more details on their relationship and its evolution.
According to ELLE, the pair started dating at the beginning of 2021. Still, they were not seen together publicly until February 2021, when they were pictured enjoying a dinner date in Los Angeles. They both looked relaxed and happy in each other's company.
Later that same month, Kourtney confirmed her relationship with Barker when she took to her Instagram page with a snap. It captured her hand intertwined with that of a mystery man with very familiar tattoos, and Barker reposted it on his Instagram story.

By March, the couple was already exchanging romantic notes, some of which they were graceful enough to share via their social media accounts — proof that they had indeed taken their relationship to the next stage.
April saw them take it up another notch when they began to post candid videos of themselves packing on the PDA on different outings and social media.
At some point, Barker even got a tattoo of an NSFW caption to add to his ever-growing collection of tattoos.

In May, the love drugged Barker tugged on many heartstrings when news of how he went all out to celebrate Kourtney on Mother's day went public, and later the same month, he had his lover tattoo an "I Love You" on his arm, taking their love to higher heights.
Months passed with more PDAs from the couple; then, in July, Kourtney's hairstylist hinted at a possible wedding between the two sending her fans into overdrive as they clamored to know if there would be wedding bells soon.
Of course, it did not help matters that Barker's daughter, Alabama, also took to social media to confess how happy she was for the pair.
By September, Kourtney had dubbed Barker as the future father of her child, and the following month, Kim tagged them as her "favorite couple."
The pair finally got engaged on October 17, 2021, and according to sources, Barker got down on one knee at the Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, California. He also had the staff arrange roses on the beach in a heart shape.
THEY PLAN TO HAVE MORE WEDDING CEREMONIES
Several tattoos, PDAs, and romantic outings later, Barker and Kourtney tied the knot, with the ceremony happening in the early hours of the morning, only hours after his performance at the Grammys.
They refused to let anyone at the venue take pictures except their assigned photographer. The ceremony reportedly happened without a wedding certificate and was officiated by an Elvis impersonator.
However, sources later revealed that there would be other similar ceremonies to mark the couple's commitment.
Even though they went ahead to tie the knot without having a marriage certificate, Kourtney Kardashian has declared that it doesn't make them any less married.
However, there's no need to panic because they plan to make things official in the "legal" sense in the nearest future.
