Martha Stewart's first-ever yard sale attracted quite a few A-list celebrities, including Blake Lively, Kris Jenner, and Joy Behar. The lifestyle guru sold furniture, art, and housewares as part of the new ABC special, "The Great American Tag Sale With Martha Stewart."

Held at Martha's New York home, the yard sale helped raise more than $800,000 for The Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai Hospital, which provides assisted living to older adults and their families.

With her fame and influence, getting other celebrities to support her cause would not be a difficult task for Martha. Besides having famous friends, the famed businesswoman also has a well-renowned relative in the entertainment industry.

The iconic entrepreneur has a cousin almost as famous as she is: late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. In 2020, Jimmy appeared on the genealogy show "Finding Your Roots," which revealed his connection to the cooking show star. He said:

"Well, this is great news for the holidays. I mean, it's very bad news for her, but it's very good news for me."

The 54-year-old late-night host said it was unbelievable that Martha is his cousin and even poked fun at their association, saying that the connection explains why he makes his own vinegar.

After finding out about his link with Martha, Jimmy got the chance to properly bond with the lifestyle guru on her show with rapper Snoop Dogg, "Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner."

During the show, Jimmy served as the hip-hop star's potluck partner. The Emmy-winning TV presenter gave Martha a dog-shaped charcuterie board, and they chatted about their incredible connection.

Martha was married to publisher Andrew Stewart for 29 years. Andrew was a law student at Yale when he met his former wife, who was studying European and architectural history at Barnard College.

The pair met on a blind date in 1960 and got married the following year. Unfortunately, Andrew and Martha called quits in 1987 and finalized their divorce in 1990.

It is unclear why the pair split, but it was claimed that cheating allegations and Martha's busy career were part of the reasons why their marriage of nearly three decades ended.

Since then, Martha has remained single while Andrew remarried. When asked about her long-term singlehood status, the domestic diva joked that she's enjoying the fame from her legendary Instagram selfie.

Martha and Andrew share a daughter, Alexis Stewart. Like her mother, Alexis has also done some hosting. She is a former TV host of "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer."

She also co-hosted a show on Sirius Satellite Radio, where she and her co-host often poked fun at her mother. Besides that, Alexis is also an author and has co-written a book.

Alexis was once married to one of her mother's lawyers, John Robert Cuti, whom Martha hired to defend her in her infamous insider trading case. The former couple tied the knot in 1997 and later divorced in 2004.

Although they called it quits, Alexis only had kind words for her ex-husband when interviewed on "Larry King Live." She described him as a "wonderful person and a great lawyer."
