Before shocking allegations tarnished his name, Kevin Spacey was a well-respected entertainer who has cemented his reputation in Hollywood as an actor, film director, producer, screenwriter, and even singer.

His ascent to stardom began in the 1980s as a stage actor. By the mid-1990s, he established his reputation with his first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his exceptional performance in the crime thriller, "The Usual Suspects."

Spacey is reportedly set to make a cameo as a police detective in the low-budget independent film titled, "L'uomo Che Disegnò Dio." Besides being its director, Nero will also star in the movie as the protagonist.

The film, produced by Louis Nero, centers around an extraordinarily gifted blind artist who paints true-to-life portraits simply by listening to human voices.

This will be Spacey's return to film acting since late 2017 when sexual assault allegations against him began to surface. At the time, he was dropped from Netflix's "House of Cards."

Besides the critically-acclaimed film, "American Beauty," Spacey starred in several other iconic movies.

The veteran actor made his last film appearance in the 2018 crime thriller, "Billionaire Boys Club," where he played con artist Ron Levin. The film's box office sales only amounted to $2.7 million.
