WHO IS CHERYL BURKE?
Born in San Francisco, California, on May 3, 1984, Burke is a dancer, model, and TV show host. She fell in love with dancing as a child and started training in ballet aged four. At 11, Burke began taking ballroom dancing lessons.
She shot to stardom after winning the second and third seasons of "Dancing with the Stars" with Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith, making her the first female professional to win the competition and take home two Mirrorball trophies consecutively.

Burke used all the attention received on "Dancing with the Stars" to her favor and opened a dance studio, Cheryl Burke Dance, in the spring of 2008.
She has also dipped her toes in acting by taking minor roles in "Smallville," "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," and "My Crazy Love." Unfortunately, naysayers have body-shamed her.
HOW DID CHERYL BURKE DEFEND HERSELF AGAINST NAYSAYERS?
In July 2014, Burke posted a photo on her Facebook page after shedding several pounds, and some people shared hurtful comments about her look.
Some claimed she looked "anorexic." Another person even wrote that Burke probably had AIDS. One netizen poked fun at her "Botox lips."
[Neurotoxin applications] have created the appearance of "heaviness above the brow."
Burke was understandably upset at the comments but was convinced that the people saying nasty things about her were the same that used to call her "fat" before she lost weight.
The "Dancing with the Stars" champion said she focused on living healthy after turning 30, so she stopped drinking and partying hard. Burke denied having an eating disorder or any other illness. She also refuted the plastic surgery claims, but experts say otherwise.
WHAT HAS CHERYL BURKE DONE TO HER FACE?
Burke returned to "Dancing with the Stars" for season 29 in September 2020 and looked so youthful that cosmetic procedure rumors arose again.
Her cheekbones were more defined, her eyebrows were more arched, and her nose and chin looked slimmer compared to photos from her early 20s.
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at Skin Theory Studios, Jennifer Leebow, who has never treated Burke, said the professional dancer probably got neurotoxin applications to her forehead and eyes. Leebow added:
"I think it was a heavy application, and I actually believe it to have created the appearance of 'heaviness above the brow.'"
Leebow said Burke may have also used other injectable products to keep the fullness of her already high cheekbones and recommended her not to get too much Botox because "less is often more."
Plastic surgery is only one of the possibilities for Cheryl Burke's face to look different. Apart from modern makeup practices (contour), losing weight and aging could have made her face look slimmer. Plastic surgeries or not, she looks beautiful!
