Why Did Christina and Ant Anstead’s Marriage End?

Ant Anstead and Christina Haack decided their marriage would not be a lifetime marriage and called it quits after nearly two years. They were divorced nine months following their separation.

Christina Haack started a career in real estate before she gained fame as the host of HGTV's "Flip or Flop." She hosted the show with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa in the mid-2000s, and after they split, she started a spinoff, "Christina on the Coast."

Ant Anstead pursued a police career before resigning to transition into building cars. The television presenter is known for his work on "Wheeler Dealers," "The World's Most Expensive Cars," and was the co-host of "Building Cars live."

Christina and Ant, who started dating in October 2017, tied the knot in a surprise wedding in December 2018. In September 2019, the couple welcomed their son, Hudson London.

Their two-year-old son is now following in his father's footsteps. Hudson spent Memorial Day weekend with Ant and became his father's "little apprentice."

The father-son duo got into crafting and took adorable photos, which Ant shared on his Instagram page. In the caption of his post, the television presenter and car builder said the holiday weekend was not complete without some DIY at home!

Ant further revealed that Hudson is obsessed with tools, skills, and crafts as he asks many questions and soaks it all up like a sponge!

WHY DID CHRISTINA AND ANT ANSTEAD DIVORCE?

In September 2020, Christina and Ant filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." It was unclear what led to their split. However, a source told People that they struggled with their relationship after welcoming their son.

The source also said they started having conflicts. Christina felt "lonely and unhappy" with her home life, and she also found it challenging to balance everything, making their marriage suffer.

When Ant and Christina announced their split on Instagram, they said they made the difficult decision to separate and were grateful for each other.

In September 2021, Christina got engaged to her boyfriend, Joshua Hall, while they celebrated his birthday in Mexico and reportedly tied the knot secretly in April 2022.

Ant, who met Zellweger when they collaborated on the "Celebrity IOU: Joyride," took to his Instagram to share a picture of them before they attended their show's premiere.
