Gisele Bundchen is a supermodel whose fashion career is extensive enough to certify her a public figure. This is due to her international and influential status. However, Gisele's humble beginnings include being born and groomed in a small town.

Gisele Bundchen is bringing in the heat this summer with her Burberry collaboration. The star was recently in the news as she took center stage in the British fashion franchise's bags of style campaign.

It is safe to say this is one of several times the fashion icon has stepped out of retirement to show fans that she still got it. Bundchen is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the modeling industry, and she owes this to her dreams as a small-town girl.

Although Bundchen has been away from home for years, plying the modeling world and proving her worth repeatedly, her roots are deep-seated in the heart of Brazil.

Bundchen has been described as one of the most known stars representing Brazil in the outside world. She has been likened to legends like Pele and the famous Brazilian carnival.

Born to Brazilian parents of German roots, Bundchen grew up in the German colonies, which is south of the country. The star owes her intricate family values to being born into a family of five girls.

According to Bundchen’s former modeling agent, Monica Monteiro, Bundchen grew up as a skinny girl with a lot of hair and beautiful skin. However, the then-youngster had never seen a magazine because fashionable items were not easily accessible in her small town.

However, Bundchen was determined to mold her career; she learned fast, honing her posing skills and how to converse with clients. And before one year, it was clear that Bundchen would go far in her career.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were reaching the peak of their career when they met in 2006. However, the euphoria of being mega stars did not compare to the tingling they felt on their first date.

The first time the couple met, they had been on a blind date set up by a mutual friend. At the time, Brady had just gotten out of a relationship with Bridget Moynahan, the mother of his first child.

He was not sure what he wanted then, but when he saw Bundchen, the doubts vanished. While he thought she was the most beautiful woman ever, she thought he had the most charismatic smile.

The couple felt love at first sight, and by 2009, they headed down the aisle. They weather several public dramas, including Brady and Moynahan's situation, as well as the pressure of being a power couple.

Thirteen years down the marital line, Bundchen and Brady are stronger and in love than they were at the start. Once speaking about her lovely marriage, the star, the highest-paid model title holder, explained that it was far from picture-perfect. She explained:

“His focus is on his career; mine is mostly on the kids. It’s never the fairy tale people want to believe it is. It takes work to be really in sync with someone, especially after you have kids.”

Bundchen and Brady are a couple who recognize each other's strengths. While he focuses on his career and keeps family as another top priority, Gisele is happy to oversee the affairs of their home.

After the couple got married in 2009, they welcomed their first child, a son, the following year. The youngster, Benjamin, became a big brother in 2012 when Bundchen gave birth to her second child, Vivian.

Brady had a brief retirement earlier in 2022, within which he praised his wife for holding it down in their home. Bundchen retired from her modeling job at 34, and according to her spouse, she did not work while being determined to raise their family.
