Julia Roberts and George Clooney are no strangers to starring together in movies. However, neither have collaborated on-screen for a while nor appeared in a romantic comedy.
That is set to change as the "Ocean's Eleven" stars reunite on-screen for a new project, "Ticket To Paradise." While it is yet to hit the cinemas, the movie is already stirring the tides, especially since the world got the first glimpses of it in a released trailer.

The actors play ex-spouses who team up in an attempt to stop their daughter from saying "I do" to a man she just met. The movie marks the first romantic comedy Roberts or Clooney have done in years.
Roberts attributed this prolonged absence from the rom-com genre to not seeing a script worthy enough to pique her interest until now. Of course, starring alongside her longtime pal only makes the wait worthwhile.

Notably, the two actors have not failed to make headlines in the last decade despite their paths not crossing on-screen. Rumors of them dating have especially flooded media platforms.
These dating rumors prevailed even while the two were married to other people, ultimately threatening their marital success. While filming the 2015 movie "Monster Money," the spark between the two stars reportedly raised questions about the true nature of their relationship.
Several reports claimed George Clooney's wife, Amal Clooney, felt insecure about her husband's relationship with Roberts. According to these reports, she began throwing jealous feats and showing up on movie sets to stay glued to her husband's side.

The "Pretty Woman" star, on her path, was happily married to professional cameraman Daniel Richard Moder. The pair met on the set of "The Mexican" in 2000. They tied the knot two years later and have since enjoyed marital bliss in the company of their three kids.
Clooney's marriage hasn't been far from perfection either. He and his wife of eight years managed to soar past the infidelity rumors involving Roberts, plaguing their relationship for years. They chose instead to focus on their relationship, eventually welcoming twins Ella and Alexander in 2017.
An Enduring Friendship
Julia has admittedly fancied several men she worked with in the past, even kicking off some off-screen romance, but her relationship with Clooney had always remained strictly platonic. The star made it clear how much she valued their friendship when she extended sweet words to her pal following his engagement to Amal.
During a sit-down with Ellen DeGeneres, the star gushed about the engagement, saying Clooney's happiness was all that mattered. In another interview, she revealed she approved of Clooney and Amal's relationship, further stating she was "quite enamored" of the latter.
Shortly after, Clooney and Amal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Venice, Italy. While she was not on hand to attend her best friend's wedding, Roberts, who gained a wealth of knowledge from her longtime marriage to Moder, had some invaluable knowledge to pass down to her bosom friend. She shared:
"Well, the only advice for that is finding your person — and he's found his person."
She also touched on Clooney's transition from "Bridegroom to husband" and the changes she noticed in her friend thanks to his wife's influence on him. According to Roberts, Amal beautifully changed her husband.
