Gia Ruiz runs on an airtight privacy mode despite being married to one of Hollywood's remarkable stars. However, who is Gia Ruiz, Danny McBride's wife of twelve years?
Gia Ruiz attained celebrity status when she became married to Danny McBride, and the couple shares two children.

McBride proves to be a jack of all trades, master of all, as his most notable works involve his producing, writing, and acting instincts, which are often executed perfectly. He is best known for "Pineapple Express," "Your Highness," "Vice Principals," and HBO's "Eastbound & Down."
Amid his busy schedule, he constantly invests in his family, working hand in hand with his partner. Find out more about Gia Ruiz, the woman Danny McBride loves and adores.

WHO IS GIA RUIZ?
Gia Ruiz was born in May 1976. Before meeting the actor, Ruiz cared for special-needs students at Los Angeles City College. But she was also interested in entertainment: behind the camera. In 2006, the former Los Angeles City College worker served as an art director in "The Foot Fist."
A few years later, she worked with McBride in the art department in "Eastbound & Down." Today, Ruiz is a mother-of-two and is very focused on her family life. She prefers to keep a low profile, and there are very few details about her routines in the media. Ruiz also avoids social media and does not own any social media accounts.
Similarly, her famous husband gets the memo, as he neither has a public platform nor shares family secrets. Somehow, this intensely private couple has maintained a relationship worthy of admiration for years while keeping it away from the eagle-eyed media.
GIA RUIZ AND DANNY MCBRIDE'S RELATIONSHIP
Their relationship began most unexpectedly. While recalling the moments on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," the actor explained that they noticed each other at the Super Bowl games in 2002, but he described it as "interest at first sight."
They kept in touch but never dated until one Christmas eve when they spoke and McBride, ready to quit his job at the time, invited her on a cross-country ride. Ruiz's answer was yes! After the ride, they fell in love.
The lovers dated for nine years despite being sure about their romance before exchanging marital vows on October 9, 2010. Nothing else is known about their weddings apart from the date and that they eloped to get married.

A few months after their wedding, McBride surprised fans with the news they were expecting. He jokingly revealed that Ruiz became pregnant quickly. In his words:
"I got married last October. I wasted zero time – three months later I knocked my wife up."
On September 26, 2011, the couple welcomed their first child, Declan George, in Los Angeles. A rep confirmed that mother and son were in good condition. Four years later, the couple added a baby girl to their family, and today, they are parents to a son, Declan, and daughter, Ava.

Although becoming parents means dividing their attention, McBride and Ruiz found a cute way to maintain orderliness and a flaming romance. The actor joked about how they spend time as a family.
He revealed that sometimes, they fight over what to watch on TV and end up watching nothing, or they tune in to his favorite show on Bravo, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

Apart from having these healthy combats, the couple also has a tradition of making their special celebrations memorable. McBride recalled how they enjoyed their early years as lovers, doing "anti-things." According to him:
"My wife and I will do a lot of anti-things… We used to just go to the mall in Burbank, and we each had, like, 25 bucks and 45 minutes to find something for each other…those gifts might not have been something worth bragging about, but at least it was fun procuring it."

THEY MOVED AWAY FROM LOS ANGELES
Ruiz and McBride always wanted to be intentional with raising their kids, including where to raise them. So when they had the kids, the couple decided to move from L.A. to South Carolina. It was to allow their offspring to get out of the L.A. bubble.
Apart from moving away from the L.A. bubble, McBride is a hands-on dad who takes time to study the environment and equip his kids with what he thinks is best.
After featuring in the animation film "The Mitchells vs. The Machines and real life," the actor talked about the theme of the onscreen production and likened it to his reality.

McBride explained that technology is not bad but depends on how it is used. The father-of-two confessed that he is never strict with screen time, but is conscious of its impacts on his kids, so it is somehow regulated.
To him, it is more important to "just understand how to make sure they're using it in a way that's adding to their lives and not distracting from it."

DANNY MCBRIDE'S CAREER
McBride was born in December 1976 in Statesboro, Georgia, but he was raised in Fredericksburg, a small farm town. His family was religious, and they all went to church frequently.
However, after his parents divorced when he was in sixth grade, they slowed down on church trips. McBride's mother had expected the church to help her following the divorce, but it was the other way round. So they all stopped visiting the church.

Years later, McBride joined the North Carolina School of Arts and pursued his passion for entertainment. During his time as a student, he became friendly with Jody Hills and David Gordon Green. To date, they remain close and have worked on brilliant projects.
McBride is still going strong in the game as a writer, producer, actor, and comedian. He is also a family-oriented fellow with a keen interest in being the best parent and husband.
