In a sneak peek from an episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Jax Joseph Nilon was asked to grab some flowers from a table at his mother's birthday. As he approached the table, co-star, singer, television personality, and former actress Erika Jayne cursed him out.

Jax Joseph Nilon was shocked, and after grabbing the flowers, he hurried off to tell his mother about the uncomfortable interaction. Garcelle Beauvais was unhappy with the exchange and went to Erika Jayne to inform her that she "hurt Jax's feelings."

When approached, Jayne was shocked that her remarks upset the family. After the incident, Beauvais took to Instagram to praise her sons for being respectful. She said:

"This is an appreciation post for my sons Oliver, Jax, & Jaid. You boys make me so proud… you are loving, kind, and respectful. You show respect to people even when they don't deserve it. Respect is a reflection of your character, not theirs."

Jax is one of Beauvais's three sons. The actress, who had always wanted kids as a child, credited her boys for making her who she is today. Here is all you need to know about Jax.

WHO IS JAX JOSEPH NILON?

On October 18, 2007, Beauvais welcomed a set of fraternal twins, Jaid Thomas and Jax Joseph, at 41. She revealed that she was pretty nervous throughout her pregnancy because she had done a fibroid operation and had infertility challenges.

During her 5-year fertility struggle, she had three miscarriages and a failed in-vitro fertilization treatment. Though heartbroken, they decided to try one more time, and the second in-vitro fertilization treatment was successful with the boys.

During pregnancy, Beauvais, who wanted a girl as her second child, also had issues as she showed signs of preeclampsia, no protein in her urine, and high blood pressure, and she had a Caesarian section at 34 weeks. However, she said:

"I was more than happy to have them out early."

As the boys got older, they developed different personalities, each reflective of their parents. Beauvais revealed that Jax is friendlier and would befriend anyone immediately.

However, as babies, he always looked out for his brother. Beauvais said she would take him down after he woke up, and he would say:

"'Jaid! Jaid! Jaid!' like, 'Don't leave my brother, don't leave my brother!"

As they grew up, Beauvais kept them busy with soccer, karate, and swim lessons as they had lots of energy which brought her joy even on the days they drove her mad.

Now Jax is older; he loves to travel, has a love of music, and spends time with his mother and brother. According to his Instagram handle, he loves volleyball and loves to hang out with his friends, and in June 2022, he graduated from the 8th grade.

The actress is happy to hang out with her sons at home. In 2014, Beauvais wrote "I Am Living in 2 Homes," a children's book series based on the experiences of her mixed-race twins, who split their time between two homes.

WHO ARE JAX JOSEPH NILON'S BROTHERS?

Beauvais has two sons other than Jax. She had her oldest son, Oliver Saunders when she was married to Daniel Saunders. She was modeling in New York when she met Daniel, and they married two months later.

He is a rapper, songwriter, creator, and host of the podcast #BiggerThanUS. Oliver is also associated with the "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Lisa Vanderpump's Las Vegas Cocktail Bar and is married with two children.

Her third son is Jaid, Jax's fraternal twin, but they like different things. Jaid likes, and his mother often show videos of him playing. He seems focused on his games but also goes with her to award shows.

She was a Real Housewives fan for years before she made history as she joined the franchise. Beauvais became the first black housewife on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Beauvais and Michael married on May 12, 2001, and finalized their divorce on April 1, 2011. She said they were "sort of like the Hollywood couple" when they married.

Unfortunately, in 2010, when Beauvais asked Michael for his phone, she discovered he was cheating on her, and it had been going on for five years. After filing for divorce in May 2010, she said:

"Mike was reliable. He was sweet. I really thought this was my last stop."

Her priority became taking care of her children, and when asked about the other woman, she revealed that she was too devastated to care and had no idea what had happened.

Beauvais was not glad she had to rehash her divorce on national television. Still, she knew it came with the territory of being a celebrity, even though it was uncomfortable. She said:

"It's not a place that you really want to go back to, mentally, when you’ve done so much work to move away from that. Mike and I have done a great job of co-parenting and getting away from that so that the boys benefit."

She further stated that they had done such a great job of getting to where they co-parent so beautifully that she hoped it would not change anything for them because whether married or not, they are still family.

After Beauvais had her twins, she said she was not as stressed as when she had Oliver. She said because when she had Oliver, her career was starting, and she was younger and nervous.

When friends visited her and told her she was so calm, Beauvais believed it was because she was not a first-time mom, and being older made it much easier mentally.

However, because the twins are mixed-race, she said a stranger once thought she was their nanny. Beauvais said about the stranger:

"She said something to me in Spanish and I said, 'I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish,' and she said, 'You'd make more money if you spoke Spanish.'"

Beauvais did not understand what was happening as she assumed the stranger was talking about an acting role. The actress wondered if Telemundo was paying a lot, and per her status, maybe she needed to learn Spanish.

When one of her sons ran up to her and called her "mommy," the stranger realized they were Beauvais's kids, and she completely turned bright red and ran off.

Beauvais is always proud of her children and the bond they have formed with each other. She said: "To this day, my happiest moments are when all three of my boys are with me, hanging out at home. Even though they are a generation apart, they love each other so much."
