In 2022, Jane Seymour was a proud mother of four adult children. She juggled her acting career, starring in shows like "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman," while raising her children over the years.

The "Live and Let Die" star received an Emmy Award and two Golden Globes for her skills onscreen; however, it's unfortunate that mothers don't get any accolades for raising their children well.

In 1982, the British-American actress became a first-time mother while married to David Flynn. Jane and David, a British businessman, married in 1981 before welcoming their daughter, Katherine Flynn.

In 1985, the couple had their second child, a son, Sean Michael Flynn, but ended their marriage in 1992. The actress took some time to heal from the divorce, and in 1993, she married James Keach, a fellow actor.

During Jane's second marriage, she welcomed twin sons, Kristopher "Kris" Steven and John "Johnny" Stacy Keach, in 1995. The "Somewhere in Time" actress and James had no more children even though they stayed married for 23 years.

Their union concluded in 2015. In 2022, all four children were now adults, making it easier for the star to balance her family time with her busy acting career, but she's always been open about being a mother and ensuring her children came first.

In 2013, she confessed to The Guardian that her children knew she'd always choose them over any acting role or anything else in her life. The "Among Angels" author humbly revealed that she was doing her best when it came to parenting, stating:

“I don’t know if I’m a great mum. I’m the best mum I know how to be. I think it’s all about listening to your children, communicating, and caring enough to be involved in their life.”

The star shared how she always made it a point to be "around" for her children, even with a busy schedule. Jane revealed how she took her young children with her whenever she filmed.

She also had to make some compromises for them when they were younger. It included her not taking roles that would take her away from them too much, and Jane said her children knew she loved what she did.

However, the offspring also knew their mother loved acting but were aware that they were "all about family." The actress's stance about how the family should be prioritized became a life lesson her children continued to hold on to.

JANE STUNNED AT SON'S TRADITIONAL KOREAN WEDDING CEREMONY

In July 2022, Jane's son, Kristopher, tied the knot with his Korean fiancée, Miso, and because family is everything to them, the actress attended. The star, then 71, paid tribute to her daughter-in-law by wearing a traditional custom-made Korean hanbok.

Kristopher and Miso's wedding was held in Seoul, South Korea. The Emmy Award-winning actress shared several Instagram and Facebook photos of her posing with the newlyweds and alone while wearing her pink-and-blue gown.

She also included an adorable video of her son playing the piano while his twin brother, John, accompanied him by strumming a guitar during their performance of Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years." In the post's caption, Jane congratulated the happy couple.

She described their wedding as "gorgeous" and the day as "incredibly special." The actress noted how her family was growing with the addition of Miso's relatives before sharing how happy she was to see her twin sons performing together.

The hanbok Jane wore featured a tiny baby blue and white jacket that covered her chest and arms. The jacket had pink ribbons, a corsage pinned to her chest, and a matching skirt peeking underneath it.

According to Hello!, Jane's step-daughter's parents had the garment custom-made for the actress as a present. The publication also claimed Jane wore the same hanbok at Miso and Kristopher's first wedding ceremony in Malibu in December 2021, with Miso stating at the time:

"I haven't worn traditional Korean clothes since I was a young girl. Seeing everyone dressed in hanbok [traditional dress] reminded me how beautiful the tradition and clothing are."

Kristopher's bride said they'd enjoyed dressing up and had a wonderful time. Estella Park, a wedding planner, told Brides that it was Korean tradition for the bride's mother to wear pink, orange, or purple at a wedding.

The groom's mother would typically don blue, green, or gray. According to Closer Weekly, Kristopher was named after his mother's late friend, Christopher Reeve, and generally prefers staying out of the spotlight.

However, his mother has shared countless images of him and his siblings on her Instagram account. In November 2020, Jane uploaded a post and shared how proud she was of Kristopher.

The actress said her son was studying for his MBA, had married his girlfriend, and worked as her assistant. Jane couldn't help but note how he'd done "a brilliant job" in archiving and cataloging the special moments in their lives.

WHO ARE JANE'S OTHER CHILDREN

Jane's oldest child, Katherine, was born on January 7, 1982. She followed in her mother's famous footsteps by becoming an actress who's appeared in several movies and television shows.

In 2018, Katherine starred alongside Jane in the film "Mistrust." She also appeared in "Chloe and Keith's Wedding" in 2009, "Let Go" in 2011, and "Once Upon a Time in Venice" in 2017.

The star's daughter has also written and produced for some shows. Little was known about her personal life except that she was a mother to two daughters, Willa and Luna.

Jane's second oldest child, Sean, was born on July 31, 1985. He also pursued an acting career like his mother, starring in "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" in 1993, and "Destination Anywhere" in 1997.

However, his most recent work was behind the camera, with him producing and directing 2007's short film "Numb." John was welcomed on November 30, 1995, and also joined Hollywood.

However, the star [Jane Seymour] wished she had more time with them [her grandchildren] as they had school, their own lives, and parents.

In 2006, he was featured in the movie "Blind Dating." Over the years, Kristopher's twin brother has also appeared on the red carpet alongside his famous mother, with Jane writing in a November 2020 Instagram post about how close they were.

The actress revealed how she and John spent time getting to know each other as adults that year. She told how they'd gone on mini road trips, filmed in Spain, painted together, had daily philosophical discussions, and enjoyed his musical creations.

Besides her four children, Jane was also a doting stepmother two her two stepchildren. They are Kalen Keach and Jenni Flynn, who have appeared in public several times alongside the actress and her children, with Jane telling The Guardian in 2013:

"We're really close, including my two stepchildren, Jenni Flynn and Kalen Keach. But we don't use the word stepkids. We do not distinguish.”

Jane also shared, "I'm very proud of all my children, and I spend a lot of time with them." The star was also a loving grandmother to her grandchildren. Speaking to Closer Weekly in February 2021, Jane revealed that she swore not to be those people who couldn't stop talking about their grandchildren, confessing:

"You get suckered in the minute the first grandchild comes along. It almost seems more magical than when you had your own children!”

In 2019, then a grandmother to six grandchildren, Jane told the same publication that being a grandmother was "everything." However, the star wished she had more time with them as they had school, their own lives, and parents.

The actress shared how she'd taken her grandchildren to a movie premiere for the first time that year. Jane explained that she'd wanted the girls to see what "Oma" (her nickname from the grandchildren) did.
