'Big Sky' Cast: Meet the Stars and Their Characters

The "Big Sky" cast is getting bigger and bigger as new seasons come along. Here's a look at the actors and actresses currently starring in the thriller series.

The "Big Sky" cast and crew have been preparing for its third season, increasing viewers' expectations for the storyline and character development.

Although the actors and actresses who have played fan-favorite roles will remain the same, there are some changes in the cast. The fans of J. Anthony Pena would be happy to know that his recurring character in Season 2 will be a series regular for the next season.

Main cast members include Katheryn Winnick as Jenny Hoyt, Kylie Bunbury as Cassie Dewell, Logan Marshall-Green as Travis, Brian Geraghty as Ronald Pergman, Dedee Pfeiffer as Denise Brisbane, Omar Metwally as Mark Lindor, Anja Savcic as Scarlet Leyendecker, and Janina Gavankar as Ren.

Other stars have joined the show for recurring roles, including Luke Mitchell, Henry Ian Cusick, Sth Gabriel, Madalyn Horcher, and Anirudh Pisharody.

KATHERYN WINNICK AS JENNY HOYT

Winnick takes on the role of Private Investigator Hoyt, involved in searching for two kidnapped sisters in the thriller series. Previously, she starred in and directed the Emmy Award-winning show "Vikings," where she received a Best Director nomination for the WIN Awards in 2020.

Aside from television roles, Winnick appeared in the films "Flag Day," "Minuteman," and "Wander." Aside from her on-screen talent, she is also a director and producer.

BRIAN GERAGHTY AS RONALD PERGMAN

Geraghty perfectly portrayed a role that made viewers dislike him – Pergman, a truck driver who kidnaps young girls to be sold in the black market. His illegal activities later lead him to commit more significant crimes, putting a target on his back.

The actor is most recognized for starring in the Oscar Award-winning film, "The Hurt Locker." His other on-screen credits include "Boardwalk Empire," Briarpatch," "The Alienist," and "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile."

KYLIE BUNBURY AS CASSIE DEWELL

Bunbury's character became a widow at a young age and had an affair with her married colleague, Cody Hoyt. After his death, she had to work with Cody's wife, Jenny.

Bunbury is a familiar face on television, having starred in "Pitch," "When They See Us," "Brave New World," and "Game Night."

OMAR METWALLI AS MARK LINDOR

Although Omar Metwalli's character, Mark Lindor, seemed troublesome in the first season, he ended up being pivotal to the case of Pergman.

Metwalli began his acting career on stage, earning theatre credits for "Sixteen Wounded," "American Hero," "Guards at the Taj," and many more. He later appeared on-screen in "The Affair," "Mr. Robot," "Treadstone," and "Lisey's Story."

LOGAN MARSHALL-GREEN AS TRAVIS

Marshall-Green brings to life the character Travis on the show – an undercover agent with a history with Jenny.

Apart from being an actor known for "How It Ends," "Upgrade," "Spider-Man: Homecoming," and "Sand Castle," among others. Marshall-Green is also an emerging director and actor who debuted his work in 2019's "Adopt a Highway."

DEDEE PFEIFER AS DENISE BRISBANE

Pfeifer's character, Brisbane, works as the receptionist in the investigators' firm and has a significant role in running the business.

She previously appeared as a series regular in "For Your Love," "Cybill," "Seinfeld," "Ellen," "CSI: New York," "Wanted," "ER," "CSI," and "Friends."

WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT "BIG SKY" SEASON 3?

"Big Sky's" third season will find Dewell, Hoyt, and a new sheriff keeping peace and order in Helena, Montana, until another case brings them a mystery to solve.

The case involves Sunny Brick, played by Reba McEntire, who previously appeared on "Young Sheldon" as a regular on the show. Fans can anticipate the premiere of Season 3 on September 21, 2022.
