Hollywood has seen its list of superstar couples increase and decrease over the years, and in 2008, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon added their names. After dating for just six weeks, Carey and Cannon decided it was time to tie the knot, and they did so in April 2008 at the former's private estate in the Bahamas.

The pair welcomed fraternal twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, three years into marriage. The couple, with their kids, looked so happy together the multiple times they appeared in public.

However, in 2014 Cannon and Carey shocked the world when they announced their separation. Two years later, they finalized their divorce settlement, ending a relationship that was one of Hollywood's favorite.

Nevertheless, despite their divorce, the pair remained on good terms with one another mainly due to their kids, whose happiness they placed as the most important. While discussing his role in co-parenting with Carey, Cannon confessed it is all about love for them, and they put their kids first because that is what is best for them.

Also, the actor noted that he was not concerned about his ex-wife's popularity overshadowing his because they both agreed to co-exist for the benefit of their kids and do their best to raise them as healthy as possible.

After her marriage to Cannon ended, Carey quickly jumped into the dating pool. In 2005, she was pictured holding hands with media mogul James Packer. According to Carey, she and Packer first met in Aspen before reconnecting in 2014, when they met on the red carpet at the premiere of the movie "Hercules."

Carey, who had been invited to the event by Hollywood producer Brett Ratner immediately hit it off with Packer. Just a year later, they made their relationship official walking hand in hand in Capri, Italy, where they had gone to enjoy time with each other. Also present were her kids, Moroccan and Monroe, and Packer's three kids.

In July 2015, while performing at the Colosseum at Ceasar's Palace, Carey dedicated the song "Hero" to her new beau, Packer. Carey told the audience:

"I've got a new heart; James is in the house."

Two months later, the pair made their red carpet at the movie "The Intern" premiere in New York City. A couple of weeks later, Carey performed her hit song "Hero" at the opening of Packer's $3.2 billion Hollywood-themed Studio City resort in Macau, China.

In December 2015, the duo and Carey's kids spent their first holiday together in Aspen, Colorado, where she met the media mogul for the first time. The pair started 2016 with the news of their engagement.

Packer had proposed to Carey in her hometown of New York City on January 21 with a gigantic 35-carat Wilfredo Rosado-designed ring. A week after the engagement, the couple appeared in public together, and Carey used the opportunity to show off her ring, which had reportedly cost a staggering $10 million.

Carey teased fans with her wedding plans to Packer in May, explaining that everything was still being figured out. Sadly that day never came as reports emerged in September that the pair left their vacation in Mykonos, Greece, after a huge fight.

The reports proved true when People confirmed Carey and Packer had broken up. Nonetheless, according to the news, the pair could still reunite, and Carey was spotted having fun with a couple of friends while still donning the engagement ring.

A month later, while appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Carey confirmed her breakup from Packer. The musician hinted that Packer did not want to be in her docu-series "Mariah's World."

In October 2017, Packer, in an interview, opened up about his relationship with Carey. The Australian mogul explained he was at a low point in his personal life when he and Carey started dating. However, he lauded her for being a woman of substance, but he concluded that their relationship was a mistake for him and her.

After releasing her memoir "The Meaning of Mariah Carey," where she touched on past romances, Carey left out Packer. When she was pressed as to the reason why she left out the Australian mogul, Carey noted:

"If it was a relationship that mattered, it's in the book. If not, it didn't occur. We didn't have a physical relationship, to be honest with you."

The musician looked to have moved on from her ex-fiancé when she sold their famous wedding ring to a Los Angeles jeweler. According to sources, a confidentiality agreement was signed by Carey and the jeweler because she wanted to keep the news away from the media.

The mansion, over 16,000 square feet, sits on four acres of land. The house also features a huge swimming pool where the musician can relax when she is not busy touring. The pool area is also very spacious and can conveniently host a summer party.

There are also tennis courts on the property, which can serve as a spot for shade and privacy with growing trees towering over the courts. The mansion, which cost half of what her ex-fiancé paid for their engagement ring, also has a movie theatre with comfy theatre-style seats: a perfect place for a family movie night.

According to the property listings, the house has nine bedrooms and 13.5 bathrooms. The inside of the home is also incredibly spacious and has plenty of natural light. The property will serve as a perfect getaway for Carey and her kids, who would have plenty of space to run and play around.

The house, with its brick exterior and white columns, features a circular drive. The kitchen is also big with plenty of seating options, while the living room has a fireplace and a balcony.

Besides the house, Carey looks to be enjoying life well into her 50s. The superstar was recently pictured in Capri, Italy, taking a dip in the sea.
