Billy Raymond Burton: Meet Tim Burton’s Son Who as a Toddler Landed His First Movie Role
Tim Burton's son, Billy Raymond Burton, lives a private life despite having appeared in his father's movies. However, his parents have shared details about Billy in previous interviews, including his trauma from "Harry Potter."
Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter were one of the most unconventional Hollywood couples, who were pretty much like the characters the industry painted them to be – peculiar.
The couple met in 2001 when Tim asked the actress to star in his "Planet of the Apes." Speculation of them starting a romantic relationship began while on set, and a few months after the film's premiere, they were publicly known as a couple.

Their personalities seemed to complement each other despite having quirks. The "Harry Potter" star once revealed that her husband dressed their Christmas tree with "dead babies and slime balls." She added:
"It looks lovely and glittery from afar, and then as you get closer, you realize it's rather gory."
In 2014, after several years together, the duo announced the end of their relationship. By that time, they had already welcomed two children, a daughter, Nell, and a son, Billy Ray.

Born in London, England, in 2003, Billy grew up surrounded by famous people, including his godfather, "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp. Nevertheless, Billy's parents protected his privacy.

However, it came as no surprise when Billy joined the entertainment industry at a young age, having cameos in his father's films. Billy briefly appeared in "Charlie and the Chocolate Family" and in "Sweeney Todd," starring Depp and his mother. Carter said:
"Billy will always have a role, but we're never going to let him talk."
Billy's mom also famously starred in the "Harry Potter '' film franchise as Bellatrix, but her then three-year-old son never got to see past the third film.
Nell was a blessing to the family, and like her brother, her parents protected her from the public. Little is known about Nell besides what her parents shared with the public.
In a previous interview, the actress revealed that her son was traumatized during the "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" viewing.

"It was the one where his aunt blows up into a huge balloon and floats out of the window. That was really traumatic! It was a mistake," she recalled.
Although her children are exposed to the entertainment industry, Carter and her husband want Billy and Nell to follow their own career paths. "I want them to be lawyers or accountants. I don't think any actor wants their children to follow them into the profession," she said.
In 2021, fans of the celebrity couple had a glimpse of their son in a rare public appearance at the 16th Rome Film Fest. The director walked the red carpet with Billy and Nell, dressed in black attire.
The "Enola Holmes" star also made an appearance with her son to attend an International Nurses' Day service in Westminster Abbey.
Billy Ray Has a Younger Sister: Get To Know Nell Burton
Billy's sister, Nell, was born four years after him and was, according to her mother, named after "all the Helens in the family."
Nell was a blessing to the family, and like her brother, her parents protected her from the public. Little is known about Nell besides what her parents shared with the public.
Her mom previously described Nell as tall and sweet-smelling, adding that her arrival was "like my Christmas holiday."
Despite their separation, Nell and Billy are raised well by Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter. Both have since moved on with their lives, with reports that Carter began dating again.
