Sarah Silverman's Romantic Life: Facts about Her Partner Rory Albanese & Her Dating History
Many people mistakenly assumed Sarah Silverman's husband was Jimmy Kimmel. Sarah Silverman's dating history includes more than just the famous TV host. The sharp-witted comic is now dating comedian Rory Albanese.
Comedian, actress and writer Sarah Silverman recently surprised fans when she revealed in "The View" interview that she and her boyfriend, Rory Albanese, have been using the same toothbrush since they started dating in late 2020.
Having to share the same toothbrush is not a big deal to Silverman as she never did the same thing in her previous relationships. She also stunned viewers when she said she and her current boyfriend kiss where they pee.

Sarah Silverman's Relationship with Rory Albanese
Since Silverman and Albanese, who went public with their relationship in October 2020, are known for their comedic remarks on television. It's not surprising that they make each other laugh.
In addition to his career as a comedian, Albanese is also a writer. Besides writing for the TV program "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," he also served as showrunner and executive producer from 1998 until 2013.
Having a funny boyfriend seems to have perks, especially when the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world in 2020. Silverman shared about playing a magic trick on Albanese after watching the "Columbo" series during quarantine.
Silverman told TV host Seth Meyers in a March 2021 interview that she let her handsome boyfriend pick a number from 1 to 5 as part of the trick. Albanese then chose number 3, and Silverman told him to look under the blender.
Albanese found a piece of note underneath that read, "I knew you would pick No. 3," which made the executive producer laugh. Although it was a dumb joke, Silverman said she felt pretty cool when she did the trick.

She and her beau laughed hard at the simple yet funny situation. Despite the absurdity of the joke and her partner's eagerness to engage in her antics, it appears that Silverman regards Albanese as "the one."
The pair have known each other for a long time, but it was only during quarantine that Silverman had the opportunity to know Albanese personally. Aside from magic tricks and video games, the couple also enjoys another form of entertainment.

In an interview with host Ellen DeGeneres in October 2020, Silverman revealed that when she and Albanese were quarantined in New York, they banged pans and pots at the fire escape every 7:05 in the evening. She thought it was a beautiful moment, adding:
"He came out here and so he's living out here and it's great and make sweet love…I feel like I'm jinxing it by talking about it on Ellen, but I can't help myself!"
Sarah Silverman's Relationship with Jimmy Kimmel
Although she is now dating Albanes, there was a time when Silverman's fans thought she was married to show host Jimmy Kimmel. She and "The Jimmy Kimmel Live!" star never tied the knot, but they only dated several years back.
Kimmel, a comedian, and the "Marry Me" actress met in 2001 at the roast of late Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner and began dating the following year. Unfortunately, the dynamic duo separated in 2009.
After her split from Kimmel, Silverman dated Welsh actor Michael Sheen for four years before they split in December 2017.

Kimmel has been married to the talented screenwriter and mother of his two children, Molly McNearny, since 2013. She has gained recognition for penning her husband's humorous introductory monologues.
Even though Silverman and Kimmel are no longer romantically involved, they continue to make their audiences laugh. They had the audience in stitches when she became a guest on Kimmel's show in August 2021.
McNeary, Kimmel's former assistant who rose to the head writer position, had no complaints about Silverman sharing time on screen with her husband and pulling jokes from the show because they were all on good terms.
She also does not mind Kimmel's ex-girlfriend making fun of their marriage. In a separate appearance on host Jimmy Fallon's TV show two years ago, Silverman joked she would wait until Kimmel's "tryst" with his wife was over.

Michael Sheen and Sarah Silverman Split
After her split from Kimmel, Silverman dated Welsh actor Michael Sheen for four years before they split in December 2017. The former couple broke up not because of the difficulties of a long-distance relationship but because of political differences.
Silverman is as passionate as Sheen about politics and social justice. Sheen explained that they were both compelled to take action after the European Union referendum or Brexit vote and the election that resulted in the former U.S. Donald Trump's presidency in 2016.

Sheen wanted to be more involved, so he eventually moved back to Great Britain while her ex-girlfriend did the late-night TV show "I Love You, America," where she addressed social issues in her own country.
However, the former couple knew immediately that the timing was not right for their relationship to flourish. Sheen stated that they share similar motivations, but their passionate actions led them in opposite directions.
The political activist said he felt "a responsibility to do something" and that it was not about returning to the United States. So, despite their challenging circumstances, Sheen and Silverman decided to break up.
The former pair have freely devoted their time to doing their part to improve their respective countries. Sheen, however, admitted it was a difficult decision because they knew how important they were to each other.
The two appear to have moved on from their previous romance and remained friends. While Sarah Silverman has been dating Albanese for almost two years, Sheen has been in a relationship with actress Anne Lundberg since 2019.
