During the first half of 2022, fans noticed that Drake and Rihanna had unfollowed fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion on Instagram.

Fans were left wondering why the duo would suddenly unfollow the "Savage" songstress, possibly indicating a personal conflict. After all, the three had previously been on good terms.

Fans Have Noticed That Many Celebrities Have Unfollowed Megan Thee Stallion

It turned out that other famous personalities have also unfollowed Megan on the social media platform, and Drake and Rihanna were just among them.

Some other celebrities were reportedly Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Teyana Taylor, and more. However, Rihanna stood out as fans noticed that she took Megan out of her Fenty collaboration.

The "Hot Girl Summer" singer joined forces with Rihanna's brand for a Savage X Fenty campaign in October 2020.

Megan modeled two looks from the holiday collection and worked with Fenty to make her selections. However, Megan's entire collection was later removed from the brand's website.

Some of the photos from the collaboration were also deleted from Megan's Instagram profile, with no reason made available to the public.

Interestingly, Rihanna and Drake also stopped following each other. As of writing, Megan continues to follow Rihanna on Instagram. There is no official information about the artists' relationship breaking down, although fans have already theorized on reasons.

Rumors circulated that a rift between the duo began over accusations that A$AP cheated on Rihanna with Megan. However, this speculation has not been confirmed. Meanwhile, another fan said:

"Rihanna unfollowed Megan thee stallion, and people think it's because [of] the Tory Lanez situation (Megan the stallion claimed that Tory Lanez shot her in the foot and he's currently undergoing trial because of it)."

Megan Thee Stallion Accuses Tory Lanez

Megan and Lanez first made headlines on August 20, 2020, when the singer alleged that he shot her in the foot. The said incident reportedly happened after a pool party at Kylie Jenner's home over a month before.

Megan revealed that Lanez's publicist attempted to falsify the story regarding the shooting, which caused the singer to undergo surgery. Her Instagram Live revelation immediately went viral.

The Los Angeles Police Department reportedly found difficulty identifying witnesses and arrested Lanez for possessing a concealed weapon in a vehicle. However, he was not charged for shooting Megan.

Earlier reports claimed that Megan's foot injuries were due to broken glass. However, she claimed otherwise and said:

"I didn't get cut by no glass, but let me tell you why they're saying that. When the police came because the neighbors called the police [...]. I didn't want to die. I didn't want the police to shoot me [...]."

On October 8, 2020, Lanez was charged with gun and felony assault. He appeared in court on April 5, 2022, and was detained for reportedly violating his pretrial release terms. Further trial for his case is still to come. However, it remains unclear whether this affected Megan's relationship with other celebrities.
