Michael Vick's Wife, Kijafa Vick
Born on December 15, 1980, in Pennsylvania, Kijafa was raised in Philadelphia. She received her college education at Hampton University, Virginia, a private school near the Chesapeake Bay. In the middle of attaining her degree, Kijafa paused her education to prioritize other things.
However, Kijafa realized that she had to find her true self, which she did by choosing to finish her degree. She later joined the entertainment industry and became "The Michael Vick Project's" executive producer. The docuseries, which she also starred in, featured her husband's success story and challenges.
In 2017, Kijafa joined "Baller Wives" as an executive producer. The series also followed her husband's life alongside other NFL stars and their spouses, including Mike and Brent Grimes, Stacey and Chris Chambers, Aja and Channing Crowder, Jeniva and Asante Samuel, and Kelly and Julius Jones.
"The Philadelphia Eagles have the best wives and girlfriends out of any team that I know," Kijafa said. "We are so close. We do things together. We travel together. We go out to eat. We watch the game together. We go to each other's houses. We're like a big family."
Besides her pursuits in show business, Kijafa is also an entrepreneur with her own accessory company, PnkElephant. According to the athlete's wife, she always dreamed of owning her own business, and since she had an interest in accessories, she decided to merge the two.
As a business owner, Kijafa finds difficulty in managing her time between work and family. However, she wants to lead by example, showing her children what hard work should look like. Kijafa also wished to secure her family's finances, so she placed her money in different investments that worked well for her.
How Michael Vick and Kijafa Vick Met
Kijafa met the man she would later call her husband in January 2002. At that time, she was still a student at the University, while Michael was done with his education at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. The duo first crossed paths in a nightclub, where the former football player mustered the courage to ask for Kijafa's number.
Interestingly enough, Michael lost her number and had to retrieve it from one of Kijafa's friends. After calling her the first time, he never stopped. In his autobiography, "Finally Free," he said:
"I called her four to five times a day while she was working … and she always picked up the phone and talked to me. More than anything, it was a friendship. I made her laugh. And she made me laugh."
Vick left his college to play for the NFL. His first season came in January 2002, when he played eight games with two starts. His high-caliber talent and skill in the sport made him a star in a few years.

Peterson's wife and kids often appear on his social media posts and can be spotted cheering for the athlete during football games. Peterson also has other children from previous relationships, reportedly having eight in total. In 2013, one of his kids, Tyrese Robert Ruffin, passed away at two.
Peterson hasn't always been on good terms with all his children. However, he took the necessary steps to become a better father.
