"This is Us" alum Mandy Moore and her husband, "A Little Bit of Everything" singer Taylor Goldsmith, are ecstatic about their recent news. The couple, who've been married since 2018, welcomed their second baby, son Oscar Bennett Goldsmith on October 21.

The pair first announced they were pregnant in June, noting that Moore's journey as a mother of two was about to begin. Once the baby arrived, the couple posted a lovely black and white photo of mother and newborn son still in hospital garb, with Goldsmith looking on.

The caption announced the baby's name, revealing that while little Oscar came a little later than expected, his delivery was much more manageable and speedier than his big brother's, now 20-month-old August "Gus" Harrison.

Moore and Goldsmith confessed that their hearts had indeed doubled in size with the coming of their second baby, in the caption that read:

"He is beyond words, and we are so grateful for our family of four!"

Why Was Mandy Moore Scared During Her Pregnancy?

While Moore had a more manageable and speedier second delivery, her pregnancy journey had not been all smooth. In June, she announced she would cancel her "In Real Life" tour so she could focus on her and her unborn baby's health.

She disclosed that she was afraid working so much and being on a tour bus during pregnancy would adversely affect her unborn baby and his growth.

A month after her announcement, she was diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), a rare autoimmune disorder. The disorder is so that her platelets are too low for her to get an epidural. She said of her first pregnancy:

"It was awful. But I can do it one more time. I can climb that mountain again."

The "Only Hope" songstress revealed that she delivered her second baby with no medication, just as she had done with her first one, Gus. She recalled how awful the experience had been and wished that medication had been an option. However, she was prepared to do it like she had done the last time -- with no medication.

How Do Mandy Moore's Kids Show Their Brotherly Love?

It has only been days since the singing couple welcomed their second baby, but based on the photos they have shared, it appears that Gus is already a doting big brother to Oscar.

In one photo posted on the "Top of the World" singer's Instagram, Gus holds his little brother in his arms and smiles lovingly at him. The caption read:

"Gus relishing his role as Big Bro."

In a video posted only days ago, Gus kisses his brother's head lovingly after his parents ask him if he wants to kiss his baby brother.

It comes as no surprise that Gus is already a loving brother. In early October, weeks before they welcomed Oscar, Moore noted that she spent the waiting period snuggling up to Gus.

She also confessed that while Gus was still too young to understand the concept of having a baby brother, she knew he would be the best big brother ever.
