Luke Bryan is a successful musician and one of the well-loved judges of "American Idol." The fact that he is a proud father of five children outshines everything he has accomplished in the entertainment industry.

The crooner and his beautiful wife, Caroline Boyer, have been together for 15 years and share two biological sons. The couple later welcomed a nephew and two nieces and treated them as their own.

Luke and Caroline tied the knot in December 2006, and since then, the couple has welcomed two children: sons Thomas Boyer "Bo" Bryan, born in March 2018, and Tatum "Tate" Christopher Bryan, born in August 2011.

Despite his long career in the music industry, Luke stressed that being a father is his top priority. Despite his busy work schedule, he tries to spend quality time with Tatum and Thomas.

When the boys were not in school, Luke would occasionally take them on several road trips. The adoring father stated that he is in a "fortunate place" in his career where he can care for his children.

Thomas and Tatum, now teenagers, have been featured on their parents' Instagram pages numerous times. Most of the content their mother shares with their followers consists of cute photos featuring life in the Bryan household.

In many ways, the handsome teenagers take after their wonderful parents, including their sense of humor and Luke's passion for fishing. Tatum and Thomas are huge fans of their father's music and have seen him perform several times.

Luke Bryan's Adopted Children of His Late Sister

Besides having their own two sons, the Bryan couple is raising the three children of Luke's late sister Kelly and Kelly's late husband, Ben Lee Cheshire: Tilden, Jordan, and Kris Cheshire.

Luke has raised Kelly and Ben's children as if they were his own since their tragic deaths several years ago.

Tilden enjoys fishing as a hobby just as much as Luke and his sons do. Tilden is a sports enthusiast who participated in football and baseball in high school before attending college at the University of Georgia in 2020.

Meanwhile, Jordan and Kris are business partners and recently opened an online fashion boutique, Shop Chesh. Jordan has been happily married to Clint Eudy since September 2021.

On the other hand, Kris has yet to tie the knot and is still dating her longtime boyfriend, Cam Davis. Tilden is also on the dating scene, currently in a relationship with his girlfriend, Chloe Thompson.

Luke Bryan's about Raising His Sister's Children

Luke has raised Kelly and Ben's children as if they were his own since their tragic deaths several years ago. Kelly died in 2007 from an unidentified illness, and her husband died in a car accident in 2014.

Tilden was only 16 when his parents died, while his older siblings, Kris and Jordan, were in their late teens and on their way to college. Without a doubt, Luke and Caroline adopted the children. Caroline said in an ABC interview in 2017:

"You know, it was never something that he and I had to sit down and talk about, you know, should we take this on? We just did it."

Luke Bryan opened up about the challenges of unexpectedly raising a teen. Adjusting to the sudden changes in the family, Luke said he needed to provide Tilden ample guidance and support as a parent and a friend.

The acclaimed musician said he and Tilden are "buddies" now. Despite the tragedy and difficulties they had faced, Luke remains optimistic and stated that his family could be a "positive inspiration" to those who have gone through similar experiences.
