They say nobody ever forgets their firsts; this is undoubtedly true in the case of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who first met as teenagers on a set.

In 2001, Kunis revealed that it was right there on the set of "That '70s Show" that she had her first kiss. Perhaps she could have taken it in stride, but it just so happened that Kutcher, who she had been kissing, was someone she had a huge crush on.

At the time, he had just turned to acting after making a name for himself as a model, and Kunis was one of his many fans. The concept had floored the teenage Kunis, and she had to deal with her nerves just thinking about it.

Fortunately, Kutcher, who was a few years older than her, went out of his way to make her comfortable. According to Kunis, he made jokes and paid her funny compliments that made her laugh.

She didn't know that Kutcher had also been nervous at the time, but for different reasons. When he found out in 2001 that he was the first guy she kissed, he expressed gratitude for his ignorance, stating that it would have been too much pressure if he had known. Kutcher said:

“I was so nervous. She acted so cool. She seemed as if she'd done it a thousand times. I was the one with butterflies in my stomach. I mean, here's this little girl, and I have to kiss her. It was nerveracking."

Of course, it did not take very long for the pair to get used to it because they went on to share a few more onscreen kisses as the series progressed.

They Went On To Marry Different People

While they worked together, Kunis's feelings for Kutcher may have deepened but falling in love was only half the equation. The two eventually parted ways and continued to forge ahead in their respective careers and lives.

Kunis went on to establish herself as a talented actress, and Kutcher stunned the world with his showbiz skills. Their private life also blossomed, and they both found love, with Kunis marrying "Home Alone" star Macaulay Culkin and Kutcher tying the knot with Demi Moore.

Kunis was married to Culkin for eight years before they mutually decided to go their separate ways, after which they remained friends. In an old interview, Kunis stated that they had grown up together, and he had been a rock for her, making it easy for them to remain cordial after their split.

On the other hand, Kutcher's marriage to Demi Moore did not last as long as eight years. The pair were together for six years before Moore revealed they would end the marriage.

Moore expressed sadness at the divorce but chose to move on bravely with life. Speaking about the subject, Kutcher said:

"I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world, and unfortunately, sometimes they fail."

After their respective divorces, Kunis and Kutcher ran into each other at an awards show, and he once more caught her fancy. At the show, Kunis was checking a guy who was turned away from her out. But when he turned around, she recognized him to be Kutcher.

When Kunis finally made the realization, she thought it was weird that the man she had been silently giving a stamp of approval had turned out to be none other than someone she had known for a long time.

The Sparks Were Still Flying

Kunis and Kutcher spent the whole night together, and both felt chemistry the entire time. According to Kutcher, as the night progressed, their flirting continued to get more and more intense. Kutcher said:

After that party, the pair could not stop seeing one another. They started casually seeing each other, and according to what Kutcher said during one of his appearances on "The Howard Stern Show," they supposedly agreed to a casual hook-up pact.

As time passed, the pair fell deeper in love with each other. And one day, while listening to "You and Tequila," Kutcher confessed his love. According to the actor, he had turned up at Kunis's house around two in the morning and had been screaming about how she and tequila made him crazy.

Any other woman would have been speechless, but Kunis had already been through heartbreak. She told him not to say things he did not mean and asked if he would feel the same the following day. The following morning, Kutcher opened his eyes and felt the same as he had the previous night. He said:

"I woke up the next morning and said, 'I still love you.'"

It was all the push they needed for their relationship to take off completely. After that, there was no parting them, and they have been together ever since.

They Now Have Kids, And The Love Still Remains

In 2014, Kunis and Kutcher took the next step in their relationship by getting engaged. By February 2014, Kunis was pictured walking around with a ring on her finger, and it was not for aesthetics.

The Christmas before, Kutcher, who was very particular about doing everything right, had sought approval to marry Kunis from her father, and after he received it, there was little standing in his way.

A source close to them later revealed they did not want to waste time before getting married. The lovebirds became parents the same year with the birth of their first child, a daughter named Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, on October 1.

The proud parents tied the knot in July 2015 in a private and intimate ceremony at the secret garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California. Since then, their love has matured into something much more enduring, and they have maintained their marital bliss.

The secret to their long-running relationship may be because the loved-up Kutcher has chosen to deliberately lose most arguments with Kunis. According to her, when an argument comes up, he prefers to be happy than be right, which works, given how long they've been together.
