Inside Alex Bregman's Young Family with His Beloved Wife Reagan

Alex Bregman's wife, Reagan Elizabeth Bregman, is a woman of many talents with experience in different fields. She married the MLB star in 2020, and the couple is now a family of three with their son, Knox Samuel.

Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros and his wife, Reagan, were born into superstitious families, a shared trait the couple fully embraces. In October, Reagan revealed a little about these superstitious beliefs regarding her husband's career.

She explained that if the Houston Astros won, she would repeat the outfit she'd worn that day at the next game. If the team secured another win while hers and Alex's family sat in a particular arrangement, they would remain that way until the end of the game, believing it was good luck.

At one game, Reagan recalled handing her baby boy to Justin Verlander's wife, Kate Upton, and within 10 seconds of doing so, Alex hit a home run. Reagan started joking with Kate, saying she should hold Knox more so Alex would secure more home runs.

Recently, Reagan opened up about how she and Alex had been trying to navigate their new life as a small family. While their schedule has significantly tightened, Reagan gushed about how well Alex stepped into his fatherly role.

The Couple Met at a Dinner Reagan Didn't Want to Be At

Alex and Reagan Bregman met through mutual friends. On one fateful weekend, Reagan drove from Austin, Texas, to Houston to visit her friends. One of them was dating Alex's pal at the time, and they all went out for a group dinner.

Reagan was initially reluctant to go, but it was there that she met Alex. A connection blossomed between them, and a few days later, the lovebirds enjoyed their first date. Since Reagan lived in Austin, their relationship started off long distance.

Although it was difficult, they were committed to making sacrifices to be together. According to The Knot, Alex recalled the lengths his wife would go to see him, saying:

"She was driving back and forth every weekend, three hours there and back, waking up at 5 am to get to work. She was working her tail off and coming to see me."

Eventually, Reagan moved to Houston to be with Alex, and they soon took things to the next level. In January 2020, Alex asked for Reagan's hand in marriage while on a trip to Aspen, Colorado. That year in December, they tied the knot in a safe and socially distanced ceremony.

In February this year, Reagan and Alex shared the exciting news that they would soon be parents. On August 1, 2022, their son Knox Samuel was born, and the couple's world "changed forever." Knox Samuel has already attended many of his dad's games, as his mother's Instagram indicates.

Reagan Worked at Many Jobs

Reagan Bregman was born in Louisiana on August 26, 1994. She attained her Bachelor's degree in Marketing at Texas A&M University in 2017. In 2015, Reagan also completed a Reciprocal Exchange Program with Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Marketing and Business.

After graduating with her Bachelor's, she was employed in a few marketing positions before she started working in Enterprise Business Development at Google between 2018 and 2020. According to The List, Reagan also has experience as a model.

In March 2021, she ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing her athleisure clothing brand, Exiza. Based in Houston, Texas, Exiza offers a wide range of feminine athletic wear, including sports bras, biker shorts, sweatshirts, and leggings.

Reagan also cares about ethical business practices, prioritizing paying employees a livable wage. The List reported that she partnered her brand with trustworthy US manufacturing companies whose operations align with those values.

Reagan on Motherhood: "I Used to Think I Was So Busy Before"

Reagan Bregman opened up about her shared parenthood with Alex – who's also teammates with Houston Astros right fielder Trey Mancini – this month. She explained that their life was already packed with the constant traveling for Alex's games.

However, after her son's arrival, she realized she "wasn't even busy before." Now, Reagan has more responsibilities, ensuring she has enough bottles for Knox Samuel at her husband's lengthy games or that he goes to sleep on time. Still, seeing "a new side" of Alex as a dad has been a joy for her.
