Samantha and Kyle met in 2007 at a race car track while she was a university student, and he was an up-and-coming race car driver. While at a promotional event, Samantha participated in a ride-along; as luck would have it, she and her future husband were paired.

Three years later, they were married and ready to start a family. Kyle made a name for himself in the racing world, and Samantha proved to be a woman of many trades. And after hardship with conceiving, the couple was motivated to start a foundation to support couples undergoing IVF.

Samantha grew up in northwestern Indiana and studied psychology at Purdue University. She later went on to obtain her Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational psychology. After meeting Kyle, she became immersed in the racing world and became Kyle Busch Motorsports's co-owner.

However, her list of business ventures did not end there. Samantha launched her website after seeking a passion project. The blog started as an online space for her to share recipes and beauty tips as she was on the road with Kyle for thirty-eight weekends a year.

After becoming a mother and a wife, Samantha began documenting her lifestyle in her blogs and offering parental advice, among others things. She put pen to paper when she became an author and decided to focus her passion for fashion on entrepreneurial opportunities.

In 2017, she launched her clothing line, Murph Boutique, which she later renamed Avanti the label. As a fitness and health enthusiast, Samantha also channeled her experience with fertility struggles into philanthropy.

In 2015, the couple welcomed their firstborn son after undergoing IVF treatment. From their personal experience, Samantha and Kyle realized trying to conceive via IVF was a difficult and expensive process with no guarantee.

As a result, they were motivated to start the Bundle of Joy Foundation in hopes of helping other couples make their dreams of becoming parents come true. The foundation aimed to help other people with the financial burden of IVF, and Samantha said:

"To either get the letters or the texts or the calls from them about 'we're parents, and we're parents because of what you guys started.' It's indescribable."

Before welcoming their son, Samantha and Kyle had tried to conceive naturally for over a year. When they still had not fallen pregnant, they decided to seek medical help. While speaking about their journey, Kyle disclosed that it was around $ 25 000 for IVF.

However, Samantha said she would not change anything about what it took to start their family. In May, she celebrated her son Brixton's 7th birthday with a tribute on Instagram.

The Birth of their Second Child Was Not Easy Either

In 2018, around Thanksgiving, Samantha and Kyle announced that they were expecting their second child after another round of IVF. However, Samantha opened up about the moment she realized she had miscarried.

A typical morning in the Busch home led to a trip to a doctor's office. Their doctor could not confirm if she miscarried at the time. Samantha learned she had lost her baby via a phone call days later while preparing for a NASCAR banquet. She said:

"I remember crying in a way that you've never cried before. This was like a primal feeling. As a mom, you just knew."

Their hopes of expanding their family began to diminish. Like Gabrielle Union, Samantha and Kyle turned to surrogacy to try for another baby. After a failed surrogacy attempt, trying for another child started taking a toll on their marriage.

"We were spiraling," Samantha said. However, they were able to work through their problems, and in November 2021, they announced they were expecting a girl through surrogacy. On May 11, Samantha shared pictures of their daughter, Lennix Key Busch.
