Niki Richard Dalgliesh Cavill, also known as Lieutenant Colonel Nik Cavill, has an impressive career as a member of the Royal Marines.

He is the brother of Hollywood's Henry Cavill, known for his "Man of Steel" film. However, in reality, it is Niki who holds the title indeed.

As part of his job, Niki leads the 30 Commando Information Exploitation Group and has missions internationally. "In the real world, there's no one better for the job of operating behind enemy lines than the Royal Marines," an insider said. "These guys don't need capes."

Niki Cavill Is a Brave Man

Born in the mid-70s to Marianne and Richard Cavill, a housewife and a stock broker, Niki is one of the five Cavill brothers. In 1999, Niki made a bold and life-changing decision to join the Marines and conducted three Afghanistan tours, where he took on the Taliban.

Niki's courage and leadership skills are some of the characteristics he is known for in the Marines, recognized with an MBE. While serving in Afghanistan, Niki headed a counter-insurgency campaign, a role that required good decision-making to keep specific areas safe.

Although the brothers chose different jobs, they come together to participate in various activities, including a charity marathon. The brothers also joined Henry at the 2018 "Mission Impossible - Fallout" UK premiere.

"His judgment was unerring as he detained some perpetrators of the violence and decisively engaged others with force calibrated with extraordinary care," a statement about him read.

Niki Cavill's Relationship with His Four Brothers

Beyond his career, Niki is a man close to his family. Of his four brothers, Piers Cavill has kept his life farthest away from the spotlight. Although little is known about him, Piers reportedly served in the military. Meanwhile, his brother Simon chose a career in the finance industry and lives quietly with his wife, Victoria Cavill.

Niki's two other brothers, Henry and Charlie Cavill, built their careers in the entertainment industry. Henry is famously known for donning the red cape as the Man of Steel, while Charlie initially became an actor.

After 11 years in show business, he decided to start a business, launching a candle company called Cavill and Wicks. Charlie runs the sustainable Canada-based business with his wife, Heather, and donates a dollar, for every candle sold, to charity.

Although the Cavill brothers have different jobs, they come together to participate in various activities, including a previous charity marathon. The brothers also joined Henry at the 2018 "Mission Impossible - Fallout" UK premiere.

The five siblings undoubtedly have an unbreakable bond, although, like other brothers, they also had rough childhood memories of fighting. Such remembrances from the past are now something to look back at and laugh about.

Niki Runs for Charity

With a job in the Marines, Niki would need to stay healthy and in shape. In doing so, he helps foundations, such as when he joined the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust marathon.

The fundraiser aimed to save animals nearing extinction and revive ecosystems for people to enjoy. Henry documented snippets of his 13-kilometer run and encouraged his Instagram followers to help the organization in person or virtually.

The siblings have been doing the challenge for five years, helping them stay fit for a good cause while enjoying a bonding activity.

Niki is undoubtedly a role model to his brothers and those around him, having dedicated much of his life to protecting people and promoting peace. Hopefully, the public will get to know more about him.
