But it was the skirt, not the singing, that became the main talking point. As Lambert moved across the stage, the denim piece started to ride up, revealing more than a few fans expected from their vantage point.

One viewer couldn't resist poking fun at her outfit, "That's a denim scarf that identifies as a skirt 🥴." Disappointment was evident for another, who wrote, "I always thought she has more class and respect, I WAS WRONG." Meanwhile, someone took a swipe at Gwen Stefani, penning, "She is better looking then [sic] Gwen any day."

Another supporter came to her defense with a playful take, "They brought back extra short short, that look like panties, it's hotter than armpits right now and she wants to go retro 90's with a micro mini and a thong, you just let her. Those lights add an extra 20° F when you perform under them [sic]."

Another viewer chimed in, "I never cared for her....but man she's aged like fine wine!!!!" A different user felt her ex made a big mistake, declaring, "Blake fumbled the bag." On the flip side, someone else thought he made the right call, saying, "Blake dodged a bullet with this one."

Another person claimed, "She lost it all when her and Blake split....including gravity." Others chose to focus on her musical talent, with one simply noting, "Still can sing."

Even before Miranda Lambert took the stage, online chatter had already picked up. When it was announced that she would be joining Wallen as an opening act on his tour, netizens had mixed reactions — and Lambert took a look at them. In a video shared on Instagram, she and her team read the comments aloud, responding with humor and a good dose of sarcasm.

One person accused her of trying to cling "to something popular" to stay relevant. Another individual wondered why she hadn't been named Entertainer of the Year in recent years, to which Lambert replied that she had been, just not recently.

The same commenter questioned why she would be opening for anyone at all, claiming she should be a headliner. One of her team members chimed in, "That's actually true," prompting laughter from the group. Lambert shrugged it off, saying, "It's not wrong. It's not right."

Many others echoed the sentiment, expressing surprise that she would open for another artist. "I'm so disappointed in both of you. May God forgive you both," one person added. Others offered more playful views, "You are not a side dish. You are a main course."

Some self-proclaimed former fans said they'd be skipping the tour altogether. Lambert and her team took it all in stride, laughing as they read the mixed feedback. She captioned the video, "I appreciate that y'all aren't afraid to hold back 😂."

As is evident from online comments, Lambert is no stranger to public scrutiny, whether it's about her career moves, appearance, or wardrobe choices.. Back in February, she shared a series of photos that included moments of her enjoying time on horseback and participating in a goat yoga session.

She opted for a casual look during the outdoor activities, wearing vibrant blue leggings and a gray long-sleeve top. Although the singer appeared relaxed and content, not everyone approved of her outfit.

One commenter criticized, "Yikes, legging type pants are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there. They don't do you any favors You are too beautiful to display the unattractive parts."

They continued, "I'm not a fan of leggings on anyone, actually. I've seen way more of a person's business than I wanted to. 🐪." Lambert didn't let the harsh remark get to her. Instead, she shared a screenshot of the comment on her Instagram Stories, adding a cheeky caption, "Good to know! 😂 I'll do better about displaying my 'unattractive parts.'"

Her fans quickly rallied behind her, flooding the comments section of the original post with messages of support and slamming the critic for what many described as "loser behavior."

Lambert has come a long way in accepting her body. In a 2019 interview, she reflected on her past struggles with weight, noting that she had experienced both gains and losses over the years.

At just 5'4", even minor changes were visible, which made the fluctuations more noticeable. Still, she shared that she had reached a point where she felt content with where she was and had settled into a size that felt right for her.

The singer shared that she's typically a size 6, with her weight fluctuating by a few pounds depending on the day. Although gaining confidence in the spotlight wasn't always easy, she said she's finally reached a place where she feels comfortable in her own skin.

"It's so good to find your place. I don't like being onstage worrying about my body. That's the last thing I want to be thinking about. I don't give my best performance when I'm distracted by my insecurities," she noted.

Lambert has learned to drown out the noise and focus on what truly matters, her music and her sense of self. Now, whether praised or criticized, she continues to show up confidently — on her own terms.
