Where Are the Top 90s Supermodels Now? 7 Fashionistas Who Are Still in the Game
Before models became famous due to their popularity on social media, the top models of the '90s made their mark on the runway and in fashion magazines globally. These supermodels made girls dream of being like them.
When models like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, and Tatjana Patitz made the cover of Vogue in 1990, they officially ushered in a new era of beauty and elegance.
These models and more who came after them not only flooded the catwalks and the covers of magazines worldwide, but they also appeared in movies and television. Today, while most of them are retired, some continue to work in fashion and do it on their terms.

Naomi Campbell was born in Streatham, London, on May 22, 1970, to a Jamaican dancer mother and a part-Chinese father. She began modeling in the late 1980s after being discovered at 15, but the 1990s proved her versatility as a runway model.
In no time, she started breaking boundaries as she became the first black female model on various magazine covers such as Elle, British Vogue, French Vogue, Time, and more.

Campbell's rise to the top was not smooth, but she had support from her friends in the industry. By the mid-1990s, she branched out from modeling, became an author, released her album, and starred in movies like "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar."
In 2006, Beyoncé's "Get Me Bodied" from her B'Day album asked fans to walk like the model. Over three decades since she made her modeling debut, Campbell is not slowing down and has no plans to retire.
In October 2022, the model strutted the runway in two outfits in Qatar as she launched her global initiative, EMERGE—to support the next generation of business talents and creatives.
The fashion show she put up as part of her launch showcased emerging designers of African descent in the forefront, with Campbell wearing one outfit from Alaïa, the Tunisian design house.

After Schiffer appeared in over 1000 magazines, she made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for the model with the most magazine covers. Like the top models of her era, she made her acting debut in 1992 when she starred in "Inferno."
In November 2022, she revealed that she had collaborated with Erik Torstensson, the co-founder and chief creative officer of Frame, to release a knitwear and denim collection of eight winter essentials.

Moss has appeared in ad campaigns for Calvin Klein, Balenciaga, Alexander Wang, Dior, Burberry, Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel, and Versace, among others.
Over 30 years after her debut in the modeling world, she still walks the runway. In September 2022, she was on the runway to showcase Bottega Veneta's spring/summer 2023 collection.
